This is why I still play video games

This is a great game. The controls are like nothing you ever played before. You have to really learn them if you don't take your time and learn them...

Unique; nothing else like it; very innovative

Its very challenging; not a pick up and play experience

A Bi-Pedal Tank Simulation that is worth buying

Many people complained about how the KINECT sucks but this game is overall the best KINECT game ever. Before you get on your car and go, first try the demo if you have a KINECT. If you like it, Go for it, buy it! If you don't your KINECT may need calibrations or its just your opinion.

Not really what my son expected, tried to play it, it was difficult to figure out. Didn't know what you were to do in the game.

This may be the most broken game ever created. You will get more enjoyment laughing at someone trying to play this. The story is shallow, the lip syncing is horrible, the graphics are barely passible, and the controls are just the worst thing you will endure in your life.

Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor

The issue isn't that Steel Battalion is a poor game. It's that it could be a great game, but there are too many incremental issues that hinder it.

+ Once drawn in, very immersive; + Laboured control beneficial in capturing situation

- finding Kinect sweet spots will frustrate - uneven balance between playable missions and cut-scenes - bloody hard - HUD system not perfect - Crew horribly cliche and repeated phrases grate.

Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor

When it is working, Steel Battalion Heavy Armor is an exciting, engaging and immersive game – but to get to the end of the campaign you're going to need to love mechs and Kinect. A lot. The problem is the Kinect experience is a significant detractor to the point of annoyance.

The environmental sounds are very immersive; The story is well written; It's a hardcore Kinect game

Kinect detracts from the experience to the point of annoyance; Little in the way of multi-player options; The often frustrating level design

Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor

In the past, playing Steel Battalion required using a 40-button controller that was almost a metre wide, weighed as much as a four-month-old baby, and made anyone using it look like a dork.

Mech Shooter (warning: Kinect bollocks required) Madman at the wheel. is a Kinect mech game that makes you think ‘this is going to be crap' and it is to begin with. You start to learn the "nuanced" controls and it seems a bit hard but manageable.
