This is an APO version, still low price compared with Tamron and Pentax 70-300mm, sharp at 200mm, even at 300mm it is good. I used it to take many shots and like it. It even comes with a case. There's one problem with its rotated front glass, so may be trouble for CPL filter.

I bought this lens for my Rebel T1i to replace my Canon 55-250 IS. Compared to that one, this one has a longer reach: it is an EF mount so the 70-300 is more like 112-480 with the crop factor.

an unbelievable quality lens for its price, i dint think it would show as much of a quality image at such long zoom distances.

It is a good lens that fit my budget. I put together a low end Canon SLR kit with a 50D and I felt this lens is more than sufficient for my photographic abilities. The lens is light weight, easy to attach and looks good on the camera. I tried a few macro shots and they came out really well.

Only if I could give minus stars . I was so excited as I was leaving the country the next day of my lens delivery. And I see that the lens doesn't fit my camera. When I have specifically ordered for sony. I'm so disappointed.

I love this lens, it works better than the lens that came with my camera. Sharp focus, and almost instantaneous response make it a true winner.

Bought this vhit little worries, because is cheap compare to other lenses, but it is great lens and work absolutely perfect. So it is good item for such a good price
