Nice handy lens

It is a good lens that fit my budget. I put together a low end Canon SLR kit with a 50D and I felt this lens is more than sufficient for my photographic abilities. The lens is light weight, easy to attach and looks good on the camera. I tried a few macro shots and they came out really well.

Consistent Output; Easily Interchangeable; Lightweight; Nice Bokeh

Blurry Focus; Lens Creep; Poor in Low Light; Slow Focus; Weak Casing

I'd buy it again.

I love this lens, it works better than the lens that came with my camera. Sharp focus, and almost instantaneous response make it a true winner.

Sharp Focus Well Designe; Works Well With The Camer; Focuses Swiftly

Sigma 70-300mm lens

A nice lens to hold and easy to operate. Very quick/quiet focus and zoom operation giving good clear results. A quality lens at a reasonable price.

Don't judge this lens by its price

I was skeptical of this lens when I saw its advertised price, so I spent some time researching it on the Internet to see how bad it was. To my surprise, I could only find positive comments!

Great product.

I bought this for my first DSLR camera and following a brilliant bridge camera with a good focal range, I wanted to be able to have that same flexibility with a DSLR - this lens does as much - it actually goes beyond the focal range of my bridge camera.

Simple Telezoom for starters

Value for money. Dont expect miraculous build and experience. For the money, this is hands down the best lens you cant get in this category.

Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 DG Macro for Canon at $144

My Purchase: After I purchased my Canon 60D and a 50mm lens, I wanted to take Macro photos.

Incredible bargain for telephoto and macro at $144

A little bulky of a lense but for the money; you can't beat it

Excellent lens for the price.

Lens produces very good quality images across its whole range. The macro setting is extremely good, keeping a good distance between camera and subject, so less chance of frightening some subjects. Auto focus is fast and accurate. Manual focus is easy when needed, with the focus ring well placed.
