Wait what?! So the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) and A8+ (2018) are here to replace the Galaxy A5 (2017) and A7 (2015)? That sure makes perfect sense.

That's right, you're not reading the title wrongly. We actually do have the Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) model in our hands and wow does it sure look different (in a good way) from what we expected, even by comparing it to the render concept that we did yesterday and it's a no-brainer that it looks very...
Samsung's new Galaxy A8 series of smartphones bring quite a drastic change to the lineup. Not only does it sport dual front cameras now, the Galaxy A8 (2018) gets Samsung's signature Infinity Display too – this was previously available only on the Korean company's flagship smartphones.
While all eyes are on the newly-launched Samsung Galaxy S9, the smartphone lineup of the South Korean manufacturer includes a plethora of other models that are at least worth a chance, especially because they seem to bring premium technology at a more affordable price.

Design; Excellent Super AMOLED display; Front camera; IP68 certification; Battery life
Performance doesn't match price; 32 GB of storage; No Android Oreo
The Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) succeeds the Galaxy A5 (2017) as the latest device in the popular Galaxy A Series. The €499 (~$615) price tag could prove to be unpopular though. We will find out in our tests whether Samsung can justify this ambitious price.
premium design; real Dual-SIM functionality; accurate GPS; water and dust proof; bright; well-tuned Super AMOLED display; good camera; fast charging
unable to uninstall pre-installed apps; PWM display flickering; internal storage not particularly fast; throttling under load
it has a very uncomfortable design in my opinion... I only bought it because of the camera...
I really like this phone over S8. This unlocked phone has very good cameras, 16MP back and 16MP+8Mp front cameras. Received the phone on time. The B&H customer service is very good.
Up there with the big boys. Does everything. Great photos and videos too
Great product very happy with its proformance ease of features
