in this era so far too many zombie games i admit there are a few good ones but after a while it tends to get boring because you kind of get the feel of whats it about or whats gonna happen, am a huge zombie fan and i read watch and play it as well.

Rise of Nightmares embodies everything Kinect shouldn't be. One of the biggest problems with Kinect is controlling your avatar. I've yet to see a game where you can successfully control your character. Once you're no longer on rails with Kinect things fall apart in a hurry.
Remember in Mission Impossible 64 (you remember) when Ethan Hunt had to schmooze his way through the Russian Embassy to quietly incapacitate the Ambassador's aide, assume his face, then talk his way into the KGB headquarters?
Ambitious take on horror game controls; B-movie delight
Wonky use of Kinect; Imprecise movement and attacks; Moments of terror undercut by gaudy; ugly zombie nurses
The Kinect hasn't offered much in the way of a hardcore, Mature-rated, motion-controlled experience, as of yet. However, Sega's new first-person horror game, Rise of Nightmares, aims to give Kinect owners another reason to get up off their couch other than to pet tigers or dance along to Britney...
Chopping zombies to bits; The auto-walk feature; Unexpected plot twists
Awkward control scheme; Lack of enemy variety; Too much hack; not enough horror
If nothing else, Rise of Nightmares helps reiterate that the Kinect just isn't the platform for hardcore action games. That's not to say that the game is a complete waste, and for those gamers hungry for something different, this is definitely it.
Interesting use of Kinect; Some creepy atmosphere; Combat can be goofy fun
Really clunky controls; Looks and acts very last-gen; Horror with the lights on seems wrong
Rise of Nightmares for Kinect is a game that sets a few milestones, both globally in terms of being the first M-rated Kinect game released and personally in terms of being my first real foray into Kinect gaming.
Parents need to know RISE OF NIGHTMARES is most definitely not for children. The game is very gory and bloody and lets you kill, decapitate, and dismember many zombie-like humans using melee weapons.
When I first heard about Rise of Nightmares I got really excited, it combines all my favorite elemen
Excellent Graphics Scary Music
Trouble Distinguishing Between Running and Walking
IT'S A MONSTER!!!!! Decades of cinema has made even the dumbest of movie-goers aware of the cast of stereotypes that have charmed and plagued their way into our minds. In the conventional horror, you have loads to choose from, from the braveish and slightly lucky protagonist to the jail-bait who's...
Combat motion controls are a fun novelty to begin with; Fair amount of collectables to those who endear to it
Combat controls soon screw up at the worst of times; Walking controls soon grate thanks to inaccuracy and unimaginative level design; Not scary in the slightest
Rise of Nightmares deserves some credit for trying to be different. Unlike most other Kinect titles, Sega's horror title eschews the device's on-rails standard, instead putting you in control of your character as you work your way through its monster-filled corridors.
