The Kinect sensor for the Xbox 360 is still a mystery, almost a year into its existence. On one hand, financially, it has been a success for Microsoft, selling over 8 million units in the first sixty days of release.

Not so much in voice acting but the rest of the game sounds frightening to say the least which only enhances it's rich atmosphere. For anyone with a kinect who is a hardcore gamer like myself i cannot recommend this game highly enough.

While I read a lot of bad reviews I personally love this game! Controls are a bit difficult but the game itself is loads of fun. I would totally recommend this game!

While doffs its cap to any developer brave enough to experiment with newfangled motion controls, it takes pendulous and unwavering self-belief for any coder to try and deliver survival horror thrills and chills using the Xbox 360 Kinect.

Rise Of Nightmares is a survival-horror adventure in the style of the Resident Evil/ Silent Hill games, available on the Xbox360 and currently selling at a bargain price of £9 from Tesco.

First off cannot believe the bad reviews on Metacritic. I took a chance with this and can safely say I'm glad I did. Its now my favourite Kinect game. It lays down the blueprint for other games to build on in the future. Very good fun. Give it a go and star in your own horror movie.

Great game if you are in the right head space. Movement takes a bit to get used to in controlling the game but otherwise a great game. Highly recommend!

Overall, i am currently enjoying this game. i just started Act 4 and will want to finish the game. sometimes i do have to take breaks because of the intensity. Graphics are sometimes not convincing, but prove the point.

Not a kiddy game for the kinect; The combat/fighting is challening; Does make you jump every once in a while; Also, i bought this from Newegg when it was $19.99; So i could not resist

It is a bit slow at first and the dialogue is a little cheezy; When looking left and right (moving your shoulders) sometimes the camera wants to go back to the position you were before, but this just takes practice.

I've read many reviews on different sites about this game and a lot of people are saying it's a waste of time. People's opinions include: It's meant to be a horror game yet it's not scary. The graphics are rubbish. There's an unnecessary amount of swearing. The accents of the characters are poor.
