Razer's BlackWidow Ultimate is something of a novelty, if for no other reason than Razer builds it with keyswitches of its own design, where the rest of the industry uses Cherry MX switches of one form or another.
Razer's keyboards and mice have for quite some time been a very viable choice for players seeking a premium experience from their peripherals, and with the Blackwidow Chroma keyboard, it's all too easy to see why this is so.

Often, they do so make something already existing even better. This is exactly Razer's strategy, entering the market with their own type of switch. But the bar which Cherry have set is very high. Various models with different properties can currently be purchased.
