Even by Razer's own standards, the BlackWidow Ultimate misses several tricks. There's no choice of backlight colour, unlike the Anansi. Plus, while the Cherry keys have a clean action, the coating feels uncomfortable, and the clunk-click of the keys is very loud.

It's a mechanical keyboard with green backlighting. Very much a personal opinion, but this keyboard has Cherry MX Blue switches, which are the loudest possible switch for a mechanical keyboard. I type over 80 WPM, possibly upwards of 100 on a mechanical board.

Bought this for my wife. Shes a touch typist and has fallen in love with it. Really nice feel and really responsive. No zone color differentiations and its annoying that I need to have software installed to change anything.
