The Panasonic ZS50 is a wonderfully versatile compact camera, with solid images from extreme close-ups to telephoto. The ZS50 handles low light well and captures a pretty good video for a compact camera as well.

wanted a compact to add to my camera collection and heard some good things about this My main problem with this camera after having it only a month was that the icons on the mode dial rubbed off. It also has trouble focusing when the zoom is extended

I've had this camera for a few months now and if I don't soon comment on my impressions they will be obsolete and irrelevant. So, here are my pluses and minuses: + If the mode dial is not in a detent, the camera warns you. + The wrist strap can be attached to either side of the camera.

Took this camera on a two week trip to the Canadian Rockies. This camera produced really excellent photos of our trip. Couldn't be happier. Decided to take a pocket camera this time instead something hanging around my neck. This camera provides pocket convenience and big camera photo quality.

Comparing the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ70 with its predecessor, the TZ60, doesn't reveal a huge amount of differences, so if you're thinking about upgrading from that camera, it's probably not worth it.

Very nice compact camera with a great zoom, saves me taking my Panasonic micro 4/3 out with me. Casing a bit plasticky, but seems robust enough. Loads of good features and the image quality is much better than I expected.

I went to college and studied film photography. Digital; that will never catch on! My wife has just bought me the Panasonic TZ70 camera for my birthday. What an absolute gem. Simple to use and with so many features should you want them, you simply cannot take a bad 'snap'.

I bought this camera for 2 reasons first for it's viewer so much better with this when in bright sunlight and second for the size of the zoom on such a nice weight of a compact camera.
