This game offers lots of cars to buy and some really good races. If you are just roaming around, doing handbrake turns and speeding, some police patrol cars will come out and start looking for you.If they see you messing around, they will almost definately chase you.

I don't have it but i used to it was my favorite game but then my little sister got a hold of it and ruined it i would request this for a friend

This is one of the best Need for Speed games. I really enjoyed playing it again. I am glad I could get it for the PS3 although it was quite jumpy in the heavy action sequences during races or chases. But all in all its a great one.

I loved the concept of this game. Need for Speed series was one of my favourites, back in the PS One... and this sure keeps that nostalgia. Very good! It has a few bugs, specially in AI of the cops who are supposed to chase you but all in all, it doesn't ruin the game experience.

A lower profile, but not the low-light of the series

On a fundamental level, we don't need a whole lot of reasons to play a racing game. Mashing the gas and running from Johnny Law (or smashing into them at top speed) just comes naturally to most of us.

Need For Speed returns to familiar territory, but it's not the re-invention we're hoping for...

I admit it. I am a huge fan of Need for Speed. As a former Playstation 2 owner, I believe the entire series was good in the PS2. From Hot Pursuit 2, both Undergrounds and Most Wanted, the series was on a roll.
