Tons of gun blazing action; fantastic story mode and multiplayer options

Quite difficult for beginners; full of blood and strong language

It's Max Payne as established by the previous two titles, but this time there is a little more range and Colour. There is the dark, rainy American city environment as synonymous with the previous two titles, but it also goes to new and exotic places, putting the awesome dynamics of bullet time and...

The problem is with the bad reviews on this game is that there is not one intelligently, lengthy written piece on it from those people. It's ridiculous reasons like "I play a lot of COD and comparing this game to that, they need to look at the competition".

With this third installment in the Max Payne series, we are in the presence of a very fun, action-packed shooting game, but also, in the presence of a very hard and touching story.

This game is awesome, it has great gameplay, a great story and the limited edition comes with awesome stuff! Only thing that sucks is at times ammo and painkillers are very limited and you tend to get pinned down. Other then that its great and totally worth it!

The story for the campaign is fantastic. But, the multiplayer is horrible. I recommend this to people who would spend more time playing the single player campaign and challenges, and not much on multiplayer.

Good thing they added multiplayer, arcade, and new york minute for replayability. If you're into multiplayer this is a must buy.

I'd be lying if I said I was completely across the ins and outs of the Max Payne story to date. The events of the first game released in 2001 are a long and distant memory for most of us, although some memories of the cool environment destruction, slow-motion gunplay and competent yet cheesy story...

Max's movements can feel a bit sluggish at times

It's been almost 9 years since we've had a slow-motion leaping hero with a permanent look of constipation, but the folks at Rockstar wants to remedy that. The two previous titles were handled by Finnish developer Remedy Entertainment, and they were very well received.
