It's an unfortunate fact that a lot of things that you see on TV that look like they would be really fun to try are actually quite uncomfortable, dangerous, or both. Take, for example, Red Bull Air Racing, Motocross (MX) motorcycle racing, and being married to Angelina Jolie.

MX vs ATV Untamed features bigger, more populated outdoor open-world environments, an X-cross career mode showcasing all eight vehicles and the all-new EnduroCross mode pitting gamers against logs, rocks, mud-pits and more, and illustrating the full potential of the franchise's Rhythm Racing physics...

Have you seen all the features of this game? The minigames alone rank up with Dirt and Motorstorm. Heck, jsut try to freeride in motorstorm. I almost freaked when I saw the "helmet cam" view at ful speed. What a rush!

The game is great, and a huge graphical update over ATV2/3/4, but the Ice Hockey that was perfect in ATV2 isn't anywhere near as awesome as it was there. It's not a horrible as the ATV3 iteration, but don't get this thinking that it's going to be able to play the ATV2 Ice Hockey over Live.

It's been ten years and seven games now, and Rainbow Studios continues to refine their off-road racing formula. Their latest game, MX vs. ATV Untamed , puts together dirt bikes, four-wheeled ATVs, and big trucks into a stunt-filled, high-flying racing package.

The title of MX vs. ATV Untamed hints at the possibility of two merging gameplay styles, yet being quite inexperienced with the whole off road racing genre, I played the game with little expectation of this.

One thing I love about Untamed is out intense the racing can be - when the courses are jam-packed with racers, and you've got five drivers in a variety of different vehicles jockeying for position at 100+ MPH, things get chaotic and in a good way.

Rainbow Studio's latest off-road epic screeches its way on the XBox 360 that combines a variety of off-road vehicles such as dirt bikes and ATV's (all terrain vehicles) in some of the most entertaining racing to have graced the high end consoles in a long time.

MX vs. ATV is a game that is 'fun enough'. There will be gamers who will find a lot to like, and perhaps even love here, but it's unlikely they'll be coming back in six months time to relive the experience.
