You might not convulse with pleasure at the sight of labels like MX (motocross) and ATV (quad bikes), but when brought together with buggies, 4x4s and monster trucks and vast tracks full of huge jumps, as they are in Rainbow Studios' MX vs.

Racing/Stunts/Racing with stunts It's big. It likes to mix things up. It's very American. It's pretty hard. Look. I know. You saw this in the release schedule and thought ‘yeah, fuck that'. Well, I was given a copy of MX vs ATV back on the PS2 a few years back and didn't load it up for months.

The title of MX vs. ATV Untamed hints at the possibility of two merging gameplay styles, yet being quite inexperienced with the whole off road racing genre, I played the game with little expectation of this.

Bought this game yesterday and spent a couple of hours burning away at it and the only initial criticism I have of this game is the loading screens, especially when looking at new gear or parts for your guy or atv/mx. Apart from that I didn't really have much of a problem with this game.
