Kinect Sports

Sports-themed minigame collections are practically a requisite for motion-controller launch lineups at this point. The Wii launched with Wii Sports , The PlayStation Move launched with Sports Champions, and now Kinect for the Xbox 360 is launching with Kinect Sports.

Good variety of sporting events; Intuitive and mostly responsive controls; Multiplayer works well both locally and online

Does almost nothing to cater to solo players; You need to exaggerate some of your movements for them to register

Kinect Sports

It's a bit like Wii Sports only with full body Kinect controls. There, we've said it, and before the hardcore Nintendo fans start whinnying about a lack of originality and Microsoft and Rare following the market leader they should riddle us this: what gaming genre do you think would best suit a new...

Kinect Sports Review

It's no secret that motion-gaming and sports titles go hand in hand. Such is the ability to replicate the required moves it's a no-brainer that Microsoft should launch Kinect with a sports compendium title in the same vein as what Nintendo achieved with Wii-Sports/Wii-Sports Resort and Sony with...

Kinect Sports Review

Kinect Sports is a decent demonstration of what the Kinect unit can do, but it's worthwhile only if you have enough friends and family who are into party video games.

Kinect Sports review

Featuring six individual and team-based sports ranging from athletics to bowling, Kinect Sports is a predictable launch title for Microsoft's new motion-sensing peripheral. The singleplayer experience is a little flat but with one or more friends, the game proves entertaining.

Hugely enjoyable party mode; high-energy full-body sports; replays

Occasional motion capture issues; dull single player; large required room for play

Great Game!!!

I purchased my Xbox a few days ago and this game was one of my first purchases. I have not been through all of the games' aspects but what I have played so far is awesome! I also had a pretty good workout which is always a bonus.

Fun for the whole family. Keeps the kids entertained and active. The only thing is that season 2 doesn't have as many sports as the first one, but still fun to play

Definitely worth it

This game (or rather, set of games) is a lot of fun to play. Everything from tennis and beach volleyball (which leave me breathless) to darts (which doesn't). I guess searching around for a con would be that you're not getting a specific, consistent workout but rather just jumping and running in...

This game is a blast

Not a consistent workout; I guess
