Last year's Kinect Sports gave players the chance to experience a wide array of sports in the comfort of their homes. Building on that success, Kinect Sports Season Two brings six different sports and a new Challenge Play mode to the fold.

New sporting events offer a lot of variety; Downhill skiing is blast; Voice commands make menu navigation a lot quicker; Challenge Play allows you to play against friends for bragging rights; Good fun to play with others

Darts is extremely difficult to play and plagued with sensor problems; Football is under utilized

Kinect Sports came onto the scene along with the shiny new Kinect hardware last year. Much like Wii Sports did, it served as an example of what the tool was capable of. However, though it had its frustrations, it still was an enjoyable experience.

So the final verdict, is it better than last year? It offers a more complete package and the interfaces are much improved, but some of the sports lack the pace and excitement which really makes this a key party piece. It still goes down though as one of the best Kinect titles money can buy.

The kids seem to really like different games between them but both enjoy the game very much since they each have 3-4 game types they like. It is also extremely easy for the kids to hop in and out of the game.

Parents need to know that Kinect Sports Ultimate Collection is a series of 13 mini-games that require the Kinect motion control system to play. (The game will allow the use of a 360 controller, but the game is intended to be used with the Kinect.

Instead of opting to include Kinect Sports as a pack-in game sold with every Kinect in the same manner that Nintendo bundled Wii Sports with the Wii, Microsoft decided to include Kinect Adventures instead.
