Wow. Just wow.

I had heard about IS binoculars, and although they are expensive, found this set used for the price of a nice regular set. Based on some online research, I first read the instructions (important!) and then put them to work. Blown away. Nothing like I expected.

Excellent binoculars!

I use these for everything. They are light weight and fit comfortably around my neck. They are the only binoculars I use, or even need. I've had them for about 6 years and I've had no problems with them at all.The easy focus is right where you need it.I watch birds and squirrels in my back yard and...

awesome gift to give

I purchased these for my husband because he likes to photograph water fowl and he loves the binoculars. Shipping was timely and I am very pleased with the product. Good choice to purchase for yourself or a gift.

"Canon 12x36 IS II Image Stabilising Binoculars: Awesome"

Canon Image Stabilising Binos: 12x30 Image Stabilising binoculars. For general hand-held use 10 x magnification is about right, because the natural movement of the observer is emphasised by the instrument, and things can get shaky, especially on a windy day.

Greatly improves the quality of observation

A touch heavy; and a bit unattractive; (only matters if you are a poseur)

A Revelation!

I wasn't sure about this technology so,lest I was disappointed, I started at the bottom of the range with the 8 X 25.I was not disappointed - the results were remarkable. And they were still small enough to be carried on your belt.Unfortunately, I liked them so much that I coveted a more powerful...

Maybe the best birding binos I've ever owned

As an experienced brider (bird watcher to some) I've owned some of the world's greastest optics, the type of European "alpha-glass" that top tour leaders wear with pride. I bought the Canon 12x36 almost 6 years ago based mostly on my respect for the Canon L lenses with internal stabilization that I...

Good value for money given the IS feature.

We have found these binoculars exactly what we were after for nature watching. The extra cost of having the image stabilisation feature has been worthwhile. These are brilliant, nice and light to carry and simple to use and give enough magnification.

Safari and birds

Used these on tour and safari across Namibia. Great binoculars. Would have liked 10x50 but too expensive however what these lack in power they make up for in pure useability. They are so light and compact that they are easy to hold steady in any event but with the IS button they are superb.

Amazing optics with relaxed IS viewing.

Having owned and enjoyed a pair of 10 x 30IS for the last decade to experience wide field star views, I was surprised to find the 12 x 36 IS II such an improved performer. The increased capture and the purity of colour in the optics bought more objects into view and easily resolved the Jewel Box and...
