We do a ton of printing and have used several brands over the years. This has got to be one of the worst printers I've used. The feeding mechanism is counter intuitive (to print an A4 sheet in a normal portait orientation you have to lay it down sideways as a landscape) and jams as often as it feeds...

Great printer

Great little printer, can be a bit fiddly to load the paper tray but the print quality is fantastic, used it to print loads for our wedding, first set of ink cartridges lasted for ages, prints really fast, and doesn't take up too much room considering it can print A3.

A simple to use printer.

A simple to use printer. It allows you to enlarge/ reduce and alter the quality of copies working directly from the inbuilt touch screen, without the need to work via a computer.

Brother DCP-J4120DW

This is the entry-level machine in Brother's refreshed ‘Occasional A3' all-in-one range. Even at just over £100, though, it still has a strong feature set, which includes duplex print, touchscreen control and, uniquely at this price, A3 printing.

Front panel card sockets; AirPrint/Wi-Fi Direct support; Smart styling

Noisy when feeding paper; 20 seconds before first page prints; Print quality could be better

So far, excellent!

I bought this printer a few month ago - to replace another Brother printer I had had for over 5 yrs. This one had been tricky to set up, but the new one was a dream. I had the choice of buying another brand, but I like Brother.

Brother DCP-J4120DW inkjet printer review

Brother has refreshed its small and home office range of inkjets, and the DCP-J4120DW is the cheapest of the bunch. It's officially £119 plus VAT (around $180 or AUS$226), but we've seen it on sale in a range of reputable outlets for £78 before tax (around $118 or AUS$148).

Great printer and does A3

Great printer to replace my Brother laser [MFC-9330CDW] whilst i service it. Full of features including auto duplex and Airprint and a touchscreen and to my surprise on opening the box also capable of the occasional A3 print.
