Great motherboard, trivial to update bios for full support of Kaby Lake CPU (although works fine without updating)
Been a fan of ASUS for some time and this motherboard is a reason to continue. Great price and it was on sale. Was expecting to buy a graphics card but the mb has 3 video ports and drives at least 2 simultaneously.
This is a fairly simple and clear-cut motherboard and I have yet to have a problem out of it! I enjoy the fact that it has six USB ports and seems compatible with several type of monitor input/output cables. There are two reasons I gave it four stars: 1.
I doubt anyone is going to put this board in a serious gaming machine, but one fan is the bare minimum cooling for even an Internet & light officework PC. And, really, it's pretty lazy of Asus to not include this F_PANEL pinout in the manual instead of, heh, phoning it in: PWR PWR PWR PWR LED LED...
Low cost Runs fine
Only one case fan power header Lazy manual doesn't have F_PANEL pinout
It is fine as a beginner motherboard
Does it works
nothing highlights
A very good value motherboard. I haven't encountered any problems. The on board lightning is a bonus, the M.2 slot is a plus, the only negative aspect is the I/O shield, it was extremely difficult to install.
WORST EXPERIENCE
