Overall, I do like this machine and use it lots. As far as recommending any changes-If there was a way to add some spinning action that would assist with dirt build up. Certainly having it increases the likelihood that the floor gets washed, so I would recommend the product .

I have mainly used the quick mop setting and the battery lasts from 2-3 hours! So it can do several rooms on a charge; You just need to reset the laser navigation position; I am also impressed that it does a good job on rather uneven slate tiles

Even with a relatively clean floor, you'll need to pause the bot and wash out the micro pad every 30-40 minutes as it gets quite dirty; Also, you need to create a barrier near stairs as the sensor can fail, resulting in a tumble

This iRobot is wonderful. I use it everyday for two modes, dry sweeping and wet mopping, and only use the vacuum twice a week now. It maintain my floor perfectly clean everyday. With two kids, I am always run out the time for house chore. The iRobot give me some time to relax.

This is one of the best purchases I've ever made. Sweeps and wet mops your floors with just the push of a button. Start it and forget about it. As a multiple dog owner this is a life saver, no more muddy paw prints for me to clean up.

iRobot sweeps up a lot of daily grit, pet hair included BUT it doesn't do an excellent job of my floor. I will still have to go around with the vacuum at least weekly. It gets stuck under some furniture which then requires rescuing. I should have gone for a vacuum robot....

After spending my fair share of time with the iRobot Roomba 790 and the Neato XV-21, one thing was certain: My apartment floors were free of debris, but they still needed a good scrubbing. You'll still need a vacuum for large debris, as well as the occasional helping hand for tough spills, but it's a great accessory for the neat freak who hates to clean. We use it at least once each week in our kitchen/family room. It cleans very well. The included mopping pad seems to work well, but it takes some effort to clean after each use.

Difficult To Clean

Neither my boyfriend or I like to clean the floor. So the result is an ever-grosser experience. We have hardwood and tile throughout. This little guy keeps the place clean enough that we don't have to worry about it.

Tried this in our dining room, kitchen and hall that all run together. Room has many angles and did not feel the unit ran over the entire floor due to being a bit confused on where it had been and not been. Returned the unit. Nice idea if you have straight square rooms!
