After spending my fair share of time with the iRobot Roomba 790 and the Neato XV-21, one thing was certain: My apartment floors were free of debris, but they still needed a good scrubbing. Unfortunately, my growing reliance on robot vacuums rendered the thought of mopping more painful than ever. Between the unwieldy mop and big drippy bucket of soap and water, not to mention the physical act itself, I'd be overjoyed if I never had to mop again. Luckily, there's a 'bot for that. The $299.99 iRobot Braava 380t($253.99 at Amazon) is like a big sibling to the iRobot Braava 320( at Amazon). The Braava 320 costs $100 less, but the 380t has a bigger battery with faster charging, room-to-room cleaning capabilities, a pause button, a quick clean mode, and a furniture-protecting bumper. You'll still need a vacuum for large debris, as well as the occasional helping hand for tough spills, but it's a great accessory for the neat freak who hates to clean. iRobot has long been a leader in robot vacuum and floor cleaners. They've added to that lineup in a new way this time around. In 2012 they acquired rival robot maker Evolution Robotics and its Mint line – now renamed Braava for all products.

Overall, I do like this machine and use it lots. As far as recommending any changes-If there was a way to add some spinning action that would assist with dirt build up. Certainly having it increases the likelihood that the floor gets washed, so I would recommend the product .

I have mainly used the quick mop setting and the battery lasts from 2-3 hours! So it can do several rooms on a charge; You just need to reset the laser navigation position; I am also impressed that it does a good job on rather uneven slate tiles

Even with a relatively clean floor, you'll need to pause the bot and wash out the micro pad every 30-40 minutes as it gets quite dirty; Also, you need to create a barrier near stairs as the sensor can fail, resulting in a tumble

I like it very much

This is one of the best purchases I've ever made. Sweeps and wet mops your floors with just the push of a button. Start it and forget about it. As a multiple dog owner this is a life saver, no more muddy paw prints for me to clean up.

Everyone likes a tidy home. Too bad everyone also loathes cleaning their home. The problem with keeping a tidy home, is that you have to keep up with it practically everyday. If you are like me, this is an issue.

We use it at least once each week in our kitchen/family room. It cleans very well. The included mopping pad seems to work well, but it takes some effort to clean after each use.

Difficult To Clean

Because i hate doing house work and mopping is one of those duties.. This mop is GREAT. I don't know why canadian tire has decided to discontinue this product but i love all the irobot stuff. i have the mop and the vacuum and both are amazing.

A couple of weeks ago we had a look at the famous Roomba, the robotic vacuum cleaner from iRobot. It turns out that its producer, iRobot, also has a Roomba-like floor sweeper and mop, called the Braava.

Excellent for maintenance of cleanliness; good value for money; easy to use

Not suitable for really dirty floors; doesn't auto-dock like the Roomba
