Apple iPhone 7
Apple has a reputation for deciding it knows best. It led the way in ridding the world of floppy drives, made laptops skinnier by losing the optical drive and turned the internet on its head with its refusal to support Flash on mobile devices.- Premium build
- Fast performance
- More vibrant colours
- Good camera
- Refined
- rhythmic sound
- No headphone jack is inconvenient
- Bundled EarPods are average
- Battery life still needs work
Apple iPhone 7 review
With a new year comes a new iPhone, and while it's clear that the phone will instantly be Apple's best iPhone, is it the phone you shou...- Design may not be a huge leap, but it still feels great in the hands, Hardware performs smoothly, Excellent sound, Very good camera, Water resistance (yay!)
- Battery isn't amazing for a flagship phone, and more or less keeps the iPhone 7 where the 6S battery was, Camera protrusion can snag on tables, Bluetooth doesn't appear totally stable, iOS 10 won't win over everyone
Apple iPhone 7 Review: Ready Or Not, This Is The Future
At a glance, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus might both be confused for their predecessors, the 6s and 6s Plus. It's deceptive. The iPhone 7 is perhaps the most drastic revision of the phone since it was first released nearly a decade ago. It's not just the missing headphone jack.
Okay let's address this headline. Why are we calling this Batman's phone? Well, that's what I felt about it the moment I clenched the ‘black' iPhone 7 may look the same as the iPhone 6 and 6S, yet it does not.
Apple iPhone 7 Review
Overall, the Apple iPhone 7 is a fantastic phone, providing serious competition to the basically perfect Samsung Galaxy S7. It's the best iPhone ever made, without a doubt. It's very pleasing to see Apple make its (very) expensive device water resistant, to reduce the likelihood of it breaking due...- Better battery
- Excellent camera capabilities
- More powerful processor
- Dust and water resistant
- No 3.5mm headphone jack
- No 64Gb memory option
- Similar to iPhone 6s
- Very expensive
Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7?Plus
iPhone 7 may not have been the huge overhaul many expected but it is a solid and worthy upgrade that will fundamentally change where and how iPhones are used. New camera capabilities are transformative and show innovation in imaging on smartphones is leapfrogging the camera industry.
Apple iPhone 7
Much like any other iPhone, the iPhone 7 is also a great phone, but it isn't the big upgrade over the iPhone 6S that you may have expected. It's an upgrade for those using the iPhone 6 or below, but we'd still recommend waiting for the iPhone 8 if you can.- Good camera
- Great performance
- Good display
- Battery only lasts a work day
- Camera isn't a great improvement over the iPhone 6S
Review: Apple iPhone 7
Say what you will about Apple, love it or hate it, the company invented the smart phone as we know it. The large screen, control by touch, a minimal set of physical keys. They were pretty much Apple (even if some of the ideas may have been drawn from elsewhere.- The iPhone is an almost universal standard
- very good performance overall
- a pleasure to use
- good fingerprint recognition
- Fairly expensive
- entry level memory a bit limited given it can't be upgraded
The design was good although it was prone to scratches and fingerprint. The battery was adequate but still below with competitors.
