Apple iPhone 7
The Apple iPhone 7 keeps the same look as the previous model, but is now water-resistant and comes in a Jet Black colour option. The iPhone 7 is faster, with more memory, a better camera and longer battery life, but the price has gone up again. Oh, and the headphone jack has been removed.
If you already own last year's iPhone 6s or 6s Plus, there's little reason to step up to the seven. Sure there's a fair few improvements, such as the water resistant design and new better-in-low-light camera, but nothing that'll blow your mind.
- Water resistant
- Strong all-round camera
- Decent battery life
- Solid performance
iPhone 7 review: introducing the best iPhone EVER
No radical redesign, no resolution boost and no headphone port. If you look at what the iPhone 7 is missing, at least on paper, it's all too easy to dismiss Apple's latest pocket blower as just yet another iterative update. There's more to it than that though. A lot more.- Brilliant Force Touch home button
- Finally plays nice with water
- Beautifully
- vibrant display
- Missing 7 Plus's dual camera
- Lack of headphone port a little restrictive
- Only certain colours show off design wins
Every year, Apple releases the best iPhone ever, but the iPhone 7 feels different somehow. All of its major details leaked ahead of time, not to mention a good handful of rumors about next fall's iPhone, which could be a major redesign with an OLED screen and no Home button.
- A10 Fusion chip is crazy fast
- approaching laptop speeds
- Great camera performance
- No headphone port
- so you can't charge and listen to wired headphones at the same time
iPhone 7 review: Its speed and camera are crazy-good, but it still drives me crazy
The iPhone 7 has more speed, a better camera, double the storage, and a more vibrant screen.
Has gone from 4 to 5, for 6+ and then to this. Each step of the development has been tremendously satisfying, and even now. This is the best iPhone I have taken so far, and although the step from 6+ not feel as great as in the previous models, so it definitely feels as if moving in the right...
Apple iPhone 7 in-depth review - Lucky number?
Apple's shiny new iPhone 7 was launched with the full force of iOS 10 and is one of the most hotly anticipated smartphones this year. But has much really changed since the launch of the iPhone 6S?- Water resistant
- Stunning design
- iOS 10 fantastic
- improved camera
- Need an adapter to use wired headphones
- form factor seems very jaded

iPhone 7 review
First it giveth, then it taketh away. The iPhone 7 is a decidedly mixed bag in terms of innovation. A 'solid state' capacitive button has replaced the squeezy Home button of old and, lest we forget, the 3.5mm headphone jack has gone in favour of Apple's new wireless standard.- Top performance
- water resistant
- bigger storage
- camera upgrades
- Same-old design
- questionable innovation
- no fast-charging
iPhone 7 review: better, louder, brighter, waterproof-ier
And it's got no you know what- Iterative design
- Large bezels
- We like the Plus a lot more
