The iPhone 7 is stylish and innovative phone packed with powerful hardware and accessories. Overall, most aspects of the phone have been upgraded including the camera and the audio. It introduces a second lens that significantly improves image quality. Recording in 4K format is supported. The sound level is doubled due to stereo speakers located at the top and bottom of the phone. The home button has been redesigned and its functionality extended.

iPhone 7 runs on the latest iOS 11 operating system and is water and dust resistant. It's powered by the new A10 Fusion processor.

A newer model iPhone 8 64GB was released in September 2017.

Apple iPhone 7 review: The last-gen iPhone still holds its own

The gap between iPhone 8 and iPhone 7 isn’t as great as you think, and for the right price, this is still an excellent pick if you’re not chasing the latest bleeding-edge iPhone and want to save some money. Editors' note (Sept. 12, 2018): The iPhone 7 reviewed here is now available at a reduced price of $449. See all of the new iPhones and new products that Apple just announced.
Pros:
  • The iPhone 7 still has the biggest key features you’d want: a fast processor, water resistance, a more durable solid-state home button, and still really good cameras with rear optical image stabilization
  • iOS 12 should help this phone perform even better than on iOS 11.
Cons:
  • Lacks the extra speed and improved camera quality of the iPhone 8
  • No fancy Face ID or other iPhone X-type designs, which will likely spread to other iPhones soon in the fall
  • No headphone jack (an adapter comes in the box)
  • No wireless charging.

Do the right thing by considering the matte black!

What did I tell you... phones like this. Yet another iTelephone for me (hey, I think I'm starting to like this "Steve Jobs" guy. Do you think!) Yes, quite as he had envisioned it (prior to you-know-what happening), it's the iPhone 7. In matte black.

Ordered for my in law. It was carrier locked to simple mobile but that's what I was looking for anyways since we activated it with them. It came in it's original Apple packaging with the shrink wrap and the SIM card attached to it. It works fine no problems

Head phones need iPhone connecter

I needed a phone replacement quickly and this was well priced at JB for the model & storage space. I'm not a fan of the apple earbuds and unfortunately (without using wireless) this phone does not allow for the old style round connecter.

iPhone 7 review

The iPhone 7 is an evolution of the 6S, so if you were expecting a revolution you’ll probably be slightly disappointed. However, aside from the underwhelming battery life, it is an excellent phone. It’s waterproof, has fantastic cameras and performance, and the new stereo speakers sound great. There’s now 32GB of storage as a minimum, which helps to mitigate the higher prices. If you have an iPhone 6s, it’s hard to justify upgrading (even for some people with a 6) but if you’re out of contract and want a small phone, it’s the best Apple has made yet.
