The novelty has yet to wear off for this popular Smartphone. The Apple iPhone 6s has been around for two years and still delivers a great experience to Apple fans around the world. The 4.2" capacitive touchscreen may be slightly smaller than other Smartphones, but resolution (750 x 1334 pixels) and ease-of-use more than make up for it. This Smartphone is light, hardy, and easy to use. Let's look at why you should get one.

The first feature to note is that the Apple iPhone 6s comes with iOS version 9. If you do buy this phone, consider upgrading your operating system is iOS 10.3, as this will speed up the phone's operation and allow for a more user-friendly experience. This phone comes with an onboard memory of 64GB, and the RAM on the 6s is 2GB (which some may consider a tad outdated). However, the phone functions well and the OS runs as well as it would on any other Apple product.

Your standard 12MP camera will take photos at a high resolution, and even use its exclusive phase detection autofocus function to minimise blur. Set your video recording settings to one of the following four options to suit your video requirements:

- 2160p at 30fps

- 1080p at 60fp

- 1080p at 120fps

- 720p at 240fps

Apple fans love the camera functions on their Smartphones, and it's clear that the Apple iPhone 6s is no exception.

Apple iPhone 6S (64GB, Gold) AU - Excellent review

Read the headline. That's all you need really, isn't it? It's obvious that Apple's iPhone 6s is a top-notch smartphone: faster than before, with more features, and just as beautifully designed. I'd also hazard a guess that more people than ever are going to buy it.

Apple iPhone 6S (64GB, Gold) AU - Excellent review

A technically impressive, solid smartphone with a healthy helping of touchscreen innovation, ultimately let down by poor battery life. iPhone 6 users may want to wait for next year’s model, but the 6s is a good upgrade choice if you’re still using an iPhone 5s or earlier.

Apple iPhone 6S (64GB, Gold) AU - Excellent review

The 3D Midas touch. No disrespect intended for the Apple iPhone 6S, but rather to point out the new control concept 3D Touch, which is one of the most important new features of the current smartphones from Cupertino.
Pros:
  • extremely high performance, flawless build quality, high stability, control concept with a real additional value, convenient display, fast communication modules, excellent GPS module, decent battery runtimes, good cameras with nice features
Cons:
  • iOS 9 still a bit buggy, NFC not usable for third-party apps, internal storage cannot be expanded, mediocre low-light camera performance, very high price

Apple iPhone 6S (64GB, Gold) AU - Excellent review

The Apple iPhone 6s has a faster A9 processor, improved cameras, pressure-sensitive touchscreen, and is less prone to bending. It's basically an updated iPhone 6, and comes in new colour options too. As always, Apple has delivered a good product, but it's vastly over-priced.

Review: Apple iPhone 6s

The new iPhone is as essential as the shoes on your feet—and just as exciting.
Pros:
  • If you want a phone that just works, get this one. Like all iPhones, it's well thought-out and beautifully made. Excellent selfie camera. Purportedly water-resistant. (I'm not checking until I do by accident.)
Cons:
  • Touch ID slays notifications, and they were already half-dead anyway.

Apple iPhone 6S (64GB, Gold) AU - Excellent review

It goes without saying that Apple doesn’t have any trouble shifting units of its popular iPhone, but if you’re a photographer whose primary concern when buying a new phone is the camera, you may be better served by other options on the market.
