Disappointed

The refurbished phone I received had a definite warped bend in it. I was very disappointed because I thought Target would have a fairly high standard for their refurbished phones. We returned it at our local store easily for a full refund.

iPhone 6 Plus Review: The First Truly Well-Designed Big Smartphone

The iPhone 6 is still the best smartphone for your money in my opinion, owing mostly to the fact that the majority of people are going to feel most comfortable using a smaller device as their daily companion of choice.
Pros:
  • Larger screen is great for productivity and media consumption
  • Battery and camera noticeably better than iPhone 6
Cons:
  • Not a one-handed device for most
  • Priced above even the usual premium segment

Head to head to head, the smartphone contenders march into the Thunderdome to take on the Apple iPhone 6 Plus. Except, y'know, I don't really have a Thunderdome, or even Tina Turner's phone number.

Six years ago, I sat on my girlfriend's couch, casually flipping her new iPhone 3G end over end. I was pondering why anyone would buy an iPhone over my clearly superior T-Mobile G1 handset.

In-depth review: Apple's 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 8

Apple's first foray into the phablet business is largely successful, but we do have a few quibbles with the UI. We were hoping Apple could do something innovative with the extra screen real estate, something beyond Reachability.
Pros:
  • Gorgeous 1080p display
  • A8 chip and efficient communications package boosts battery life
  • Optical image stabilization for iSight camera
Cons:
  • Large form factor limits pocketability
  • Apple could have done more with the extra screen real estate
  • Gorgeous 1080p display
  • A8 chip and efficient communications package boosts battery life
  • Optical image stabilization for iSight camera

Apple iPhone 6 Plus review: Following the curve

Apple caved to market pressure and created a phablet. This may sound as blasphemy but it's not the first time Cupertino is seen reacting to rivals getting too confident, too aggressive - too close for comfort.
Pros:
  • Metal unibody, 7.1mm slim, 172g of weight, LTE connectivity (Cat. 4, 150Mbps downlink, 5.5" 1,080 x 1,920 LED-backlit IPS LCD with 401 ppi pixel density, Apple iOS 8
  • iPad-like split-screen functionality, Dual-core 1.4 GHz Apple A8 chipset, M8 motion co-processor, PowerVR GX6450 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 8MP...
Cons:
  • Hard to use single-handedly
  • unimpressive screen to body ratio (6" Androids fit in the same footprint
  • No microSD slot
  • Pricey memory upgrades
  • 32GB version should be standard for such an expensive phone
  • No user-replaceable battery
  • Protruding camera lens makes the phone wobble if you don't have a...

Apple iPhone 6 Plus Review

So yes, the iPhone 6 Plus is legitimately a phablet. That's why there's a lot of noise regarding this year's release since Apple has resisted even going the way of major flagship device in the range of 4.7 to 5.0 inches, then suddenly they made a sizable shift to 5.5.
Pros:
  • * Large full HD display
  • * Good performance
  • * Impressive camera performance
  • * Option for 128GB internal storage
  • * Touch ID and Fingerprint sensor
Cons:
  • * Very expensive retail price
  • * Crippled NFC capability
  • * A bit unweildy to hold
