Apple iPhone 6 Plus
It wouldn't be a complete smartphone test without the current-generation iPhone - Apple continues to be the best-selling smartphone manufacturer on the market (although Samsung is close behind).- Great-looking HD display
- Camera is very easy to use
- Device is easy to use overall
- Can run more demanding apps and games
- Testers found it too big
- Camera is subpar compared to those on other high-end phones
Apple iPhone 6 Plus review - plus iPhone 6 Plus camera recall
When we initially wrote this review, the new size was something of an unknown. For many people the iPhone 6 (or iPhone 6S) is the better choice for the reasons we list in our iPhone 6 vs 6 Plus comparison.
iPhone 6 Plus Review: INSANE Battery Life, Great Performance
BIGGER and then some, we test out Apple's phablet-sized iPhone 6 Plus. But is it a better choice than the iPhone 6?- Excellent camera
- Insane processing power
- Premium build materials
- Brilliant battery life
- Great Ecosystem
- Gorgeous Display
- Might be too large for some users
- Curved edges make it slippy in the hand
- Aluminium finish means case is a MUST
Apple iPhone 6 Plus 128GB Gold
An iPhone with Bigger Screen and Better Features Pros - This Apple smartphone is a high performance smartphone, with fast and responsive interface. It can be used to play graphic intensive games or run heavy apps with ease.
iPhone 6plus Great size poor quality
I purchased this phone in August 2015, I have been to the Apple Store 5 times and got a total of 4 of same phone replaced with new ones just to keep having issues. I can't wait until the 7 comes out so I can get rid of this iPhone 6plus I just hope the 7 has a 7plus.
"Stick to the 6"
The iPhone 6S is an overall good phone that will please everyone with its simplicity and power. A big enough screen, good camera, and fast controls will leave you satisfied as an owner. However, after also owning the previous iPhone 6, I would prefer the 6 to the 6S.- Good camera
- smooth big screen
- fast controls
- simple
- pretty display
- good for talk and text
- 3D Touch will not be used much
- cracks easily
- not much upgrade over predessecors
Apple iPhone 6 Plus Smartphone Review
It is unusually big, but still an iPhone. We miss the familiar perfection of Apple in the case of the iPhone 6 Plus. The poor stability of the case is just one issue. You should not be able to twist the case when you buy a device that can cost up to 1,000 Euros (~$1250).- Great display
- Very good battery runtimes
- Great GPS module
- Great performance
- Decent camera
- Very good voice quality
- Good headphones
- The display
- the fast performance and the great GPS module collect a lot of points
- NFC can only be used for Apple Pay, Complicated one-hand use, Flash overexposes pictures, Storage cannot be expanded, No LTE Cat
- 6, Power adaptor too weak, Price, Mediocre case stability, OIS makes it hard to use the iPhone on a tripod, More stability! For the chassis, the OIS and the software
Apple iPhone 6 Plus: An in depth review
An iPhone that is uncomfortable to use contradicts what the iPhone is all about. This is a niche smartphone intended for a tiny group of multimedia junkies. And even then, the smaller 4.7in iPhone 6 should appease even the most demanding content users. Apple is taking the fight to Samsung with its first large screen smartphone, the inimitable iPhone 6 Plus. It brings Apple’s famed iOS 8 software to a vibrant 5.5-inch screen, but we fear somewhere along the way the iPhone lost its magic.- High resolution screen
- Great software
- Finger scanner
- Strong battery performance
- Uncomfortable to hold and use daily
- Apple's strict governance
Some things don't work at 5.5-inches, like the design of a small iPhone

Apple iPhone 6 Plus Review: The Most Awkward iPhone So Far
The device is available in Space Gray, Silver, and Gold. The Gray one looks good, while Gold version evokes polarised opinions. The Silver iPhone 6 Plus look cheap (like a Samsung phone) due to its white front-panel with visible sensors.- Smooth UI
- Premium construction
- Excellent sound output
- Impressive camera (even in low-light)
- Long battery life
- Excellent for gaming
- Rich App Store
- Awkward to use
- Strength of the frame is questionable
- Lacks mass storage mode
- Supports very few video formats
- Lacklustre maps
- Lacks FM Radio
- Reachability feature is stupid
