Apple iPhone 6 Plus camera review
The Apple iPhone 6 Plus offers very solid still imaging and video capabilities all around. Thanks to newer sensor technology, on-sensor phase detection and optical image stabilization image quality has been improved over the previous iPhone generation and panorama and HDR modes are still among the best we have seen. The 6 Plus offers the premium design and materials that are typical for Apple devices and a very snappy overall performance. The 5.5-inch display might be too large for some but if you can live with the device's phablet dimensions it's hard to go wrong with Apple's flagship smartphone.

- Smooth and stable 1080p video
- Very good slow motion video feature
- Simple and intuitive camera user interface
- Well-stitched and very large panorama images

- Responsive camera and overall performance
- Very fast shot-to-shot times and burst shooting
- Reliable and very fast autofocus system in both stills and video modes
- Good battery life

- File export to computer can be cumbersome
- Occasional slight underexposure in night scenes
- No dedicated shutter button
- Low-resolution front camera

Apple fans, the new iPhone is here, and you need it now. Google fans, you might want to check it out first, and not dive in head first right away. Apple has done some truly amazing things with the new iPhone, stepping outside of its comfort zone, that's for sure.

Apple iPhone 6 Plus Review
It's January of 2012 and I'm in Las Vegas to cover the annual Consumer Electronics Show. I'm stuck in traffic with a colleague of mine when our taxi driver points to an advertisement for a new smartphone and asks if we know anything about it.
Pros:
- Beautiful, bright and color-accurate HD display
- A8 SoC performs on par or faster than competing chips
- Improvements to the camera hardware and battery life
- Finally makes iOS an option for anyone interested in a phablet
- Thin body and the tapered edges of the front panel glass look stunning
Cons:
- Protruding camera lens takes away from the overall design
- Few iOS apps are optimized for the new form factor (though this will change over time)
- Price -- Apple added a new 'premium' tier to the iPhone lineup

It's no easy task reviewing an iPhone. Apple isn't like other phone makers and doesn't create and launch several smartphone models throughout the year. Instead, once per annum, Apple announces the new devices that it's going to sell for the entire next 12 months. That's it.

iPhone 6 Plus review: oversized and undercooked
In the end, the iPhone 6 Plus is exactly what we imagined it would be – an oversized iPhone. And while Apple did little to take advantage of that extra space, it made up for it in other areas, like the speaker quality, battery life, and even performance.
Pros:
- Fantastic build quality and in-hand feel
- Above average camera performance
- Third-party support in iOS is refreshing
- Incredible battery life that should carry most into a second day
- iPhone app/accessory ecosystem still the strongest of all platforms
Cons:
- iOS 8 comes with bugs and missing promised features
- Call quality took a backseat this year
- The slick build might prompt users to always use a case

Apple iPhone 6 Plus Review
The iPhone 6 Plus is perhaps the iPhone as a phablet. But the iPhone 6 is better being an iPhone. As with all things Apple, though it may not matter for most people taking a glimpse at the iPhone 6 Plus, because the 6 Plus is simpler.
Pros:
- Excellent camera, especially in low light
- Super premium feel, and easy to use OS

- It's really big
- Phone calling performance is just okay
