Apple iPhone 6 Plus Review

The iPhone 6 Plus is perhaps the iPhone as a phablet. But the iPhone 6 is better being an iPhone. As with all things Apple, though it may not matter for most people taking a glimpse at the iPhone 6 Plus, because the 6 Plus is simpler.
Pros:
  • Excellent camera, especially in low light
  • Super premium feel, and easy to use OS
Cons:
  • It's really big
  • Phone calling performance is just okay

Apple iPhone 6 Plus camera review

The Apple iPhone 6 Plus offers very solid still imaging and video capabilities all around. Thanks to newer sensor technology, on-sensor phase detection and optical image stabilization image quality has been improved over the previous iPhone generation and panorama and HDR modes are still among the best we have seen. The 6 Plus offers the premium design and materials that are typical for Apple devices and a very snappy overall performance. The 5.5-inch display might be too large for some but if you can live with the device's phablet dimensions it's hard to go wrong with Apple's flagship smartphone.
Pros:
  • Reliable exposure and natural colors
  • Good detail and well-balanced noise reduction across all light levels
  • Good flash exposure and color
  • Smooth and stable 1080p video
  • Very good slow motion video feature
  • Simple and intuitive camera user interface
  • Well-stitched and very large panorama images
  • Efficient HDR mode captures natural results
  • Premium body materials and design
  • Responsive camera and overall performance
  • Very fast shot-to-shot times and burst shooting
  • Reliable and very fast autofocus system in both stills and video modes
  • Good battery life
Cons:
  • Limited camera feature set
  • File export to computer can be cumbersome
  • Occasional slight underexposure in night scenes
  • No dedicated shutter button
  • Low-resolution front camera
  • No 4K video

iPhone 6 Plus review

The iPhone 6 Plus is the biggest iPhone ever, with the sharpest screen of any iOS device in history. It's a record breaker, but is it worth the money? And is it too big for its own good, or too big for the average person to use one-handed?
Pros:
  • Clever Reachability feature may solve one-handed use problems
  • Superb high-res screen
  • Beautiful design
Cons:
  • Expensive
  • Apple Pay feature not available in UK yet
  • Could still be too big for the small-handed
  • Rear camera sticks out a tiny bit

Review: Apple iPhone 6 Plus

Here's the best way to start an iPhone review: Goddamn do I love Android. I love its flexibility and efficiency. I love the way it bends to my will. And I've spent the past couple years loving that I can get a phone that isn't made for someone with doll hands .
Pros:
  • Excellent camera quality produces amazing images
  • Almost impossible to shoot blurry video, even of uncooperative toddlers
  • Battery life will keep you going all day and well into the night
  • Glorious, vivid, roomy display will make you want to throw out your iPad.
Cons:
  • You call these widgets, iOS 8? I want to be able to read my email right on my home screen
  • It scratches
  • It bends

iPhone 6 Plus Review

This is a lightweight and slim device, which benefits from beautiful build quality and a massive HD display, but the iPhone 6 Plus is not the fabulous phablet we'd hoped for. While the Galaxy Note range has created a niche market, Apple appears to have gone for the safe option and ended up selling...
Pros:
  • Quality design and feel
  • Fabulous display
  • Speedy and powerful
Cons:
  • Large and hard to hold
  • iOS 8 doesn't really make the most of extra space
  • Pricey
  • Lacks stylus support

iPhone 6 Plus review

While the iPhone 6 Plus isn't the cheapest smartphone out there, you get a high-quality large display, great battery life and speedy performance. But the large format won't suit all users.
Pros:
  • Impressive battery life
  • high-quality and large display
  • user-friendly
  • speedy performance
Cons:
  • Too large for typing and using one-handed
  • some key features not out in UK
  • quite pricey
