If size is everything, the iPhone 6 Plus has a lot going for it, but it'll be too big for many
Pros:
- Full HD screen with great colours
- Lots of screen real estate
- Optical image stabilisation on camera
- Superb battery life
Cons:
- Way too big for some hands
- Like the iPhone 6 there's no 4K video

There's no way around it: the iPhone 6 Plus is big. Hella big. After years of being coy on whether size matters, this is a surprise smartphone monster from Apple. At 158.1mm long and 77.8mm wide, it's in Galaxy Note territory and more a bag-occupier than a pocket partner.

Choosing between the iPhone 6 Plus and the smaller iPhone 6 could be surprisingly difficult if your hand, and your wallet, is large enough. It is large, yet the extra screen space is a boon. But that also makes it unwieldy, and could increase the risk of dropping it.

iPhone 6 and 6 Plus review: bigger and better, but with stiffer competition
Even with a slightly larger screen, the iPhone remains comfortable to hold. With fast performance, a great display, an elegant new design and a much-needed software update, it's one of the best smartphones you can buy right now.
