Apple iPhone 5
This is a great phone to have with lots of important and critical improvements to the iPhone 4S when it comes to size, weight and performance. So it is currently a top tier smartphone with competition. The question people ask, is whether they should upgrade their phones to it or not.- Double the speed, double the graphics, improved battery
- Bigger size, thinner, and lighter
- Lightning connector adaptors
- Secondary Camera
- Forget about Siri
Took the Galaxy S4 back and got the iphone
I initially switched to the Galaxy S4 from the iPhone 4S and hated the Galaxy. It felt cheap, and it just plain took too long to get everything working the way I wanted. The iPhone is just such a great, easy to use right out of the box phone, especially if you already have itunes.- ease of use
- clear display
- apps easy to find
- fits easily in my purse
- lightweight
- beautiful look
- would like the screen to be just a bit wider
iPhone 5
A number of high profile news stories emerged soon after the iPhone 5's release. These ranged from the metallic back and side chipping and revealing the aluminium beneath to issues with battery life and the Apple Maps fiasco. We go into more detail about the maps app further on.- Stunning design and build
- Taller
- more colourful display
- 4G connectivity and superfast processor
- Scratchprone chassis
- New Maps app is a step backwards
- Lacks NFC
Noisy
Tends to rattle and be noisy especially when there is no phone in the holder. This is particularly annoying on short trips when you don't put the phone in the holder, otherwise with the phone in the clamp it is not noisy.
iPhone 5 review
The iPhone 5 is more than just Apple's latest high-end smartphone. In a world of huge slabs of phone the iPhone's thin profile makes it different to the Galaxy S4 , Sony Xperia Z , HTC One , BlackBerry Z10 , Nokia Lumia 925 and the rest of the high-end phone lineup.

Hyped Like No Other Phone, This Is Less Of A Phone And More Of A Status Symbol Or A Style Statement To Many...Priced At The Highest End Of The Mobile Spectrum...Yet Totally An F- For the Price : Performance Ratio...But Its Not All Bad..Is It ...
When a new version of a standard-setting product is about to be released, the questions are predictable. They essentially fall into two camps. In terms of excitement, we wonder what fabulous new features it will offer that we didn't know we couldn't live without.
- A larger screen
- thinner and lighter design
- and 4G LTE connectivity make this superb smartphone better than ever
- Like its predecessors
- the iPhone 5 lacks expandable storage and
- though its display is brilliant
- it's smaller than some competitors
