The Apple iPhone 5 16GB is one of the best phones ever. It can do just about anything. Apple designers have found ways to add more features than ever before. The features are useful and Apple has delivered the things that users want.

One feature is the Touch ID, which is a fingerprint identity sensor. Simply place your finger on the home button and it will unlock you iPhone. With the iPhone 5, it is easy to purchase things from the App Store as well as your favorite tunes.

The new M7 and A7 chips deliver a faster CPU and better graphics. The iPhone 5 is excellent for playing games. The M7 motion coprocessor allows you to do even more. There isn't much not to love about the latest edition of the iPhone.

The iSight camera is better than before. It provides wider aperture. Other features include burst mode and slow motion video. This 8 megapixel camera offers the best that technology has to offer.

With faster LTE wireless, you can do more. This phone supports more LTE bands. As a result, you get faster coverage, no matter where you are at. The iPhone connects to more networks around the world than before. It features a dual-band 802.11n. This allows users to view content and download faster than ever before.

iOS 7 puts to use the best technologies of the iPhone. There is a 64 bit A7 chip and much more. Other outstanding features include Control Center and AirDrop.

Only the iPhone offers a Retina display. The display on the iPhone is so high that the individual pixels can't be distinguished with the eye. Images are clear and beautiful. Once you have the Retina display, you won't want anything else.

The iPhone 5 offers longer battery life. This will allow you to use your phone more often. It is hard to believe that a powerful battery fits into such a small phone. The iPhone 5 offers many ways to be entertained. It is perfect for any vacation. In the App Store, you will find over 800,000 apps. They improve your work performance and offer many options for entertainment.

The iPhone 5 was replaced in 2016 by Apple's upgraded 4-inch phone called iPhone SE.

I decided to skip the iPhone 4S and made the leap to a refurbished iPhone 5 from AT&T. On February 5, 2013, I received the iPhone 5 and upgraded to iOS 6.1, which went smoothly. After the iPhone rebooted, the screen immediately started to transition to a white haze contrast every 5-10 minutes.

Apple iPhone 5 Camera Review

The iPhone 5 combines ease of use with excellent image quality that rivals the best of its conventional competition (ignoring the innovative Nokia 808 PureView for a moment). Anyone upgrading from the iPhone 4S will not see a huge difference in image quality, but the leap from earlier generation models is profound. The iPhone 5's camera is one of the best around, but manual control over white balance and exposure (via exposure compensation) would be the cherry on the cake.
Pros:
  • Excellent resolution at low ISO sensitivity settings in good light
  • Reliable metering and white balance in daylight
  • Supremely easy to use Camera App
  • Hardware shutter button (volume keys)
  • Bright, contrasty, very high-resolution LCD screen
  • Excellent built-in HDR and Panorama modes
  • Effective touch-to-focus/AE and AF/AE lock options
Cons:
  • Luminance noise visible in areas of plain tone even at ISO 50
  • Lens prone to flare when bright lights are positioned at or just outside the edge of the frame
  • Face detection a little hyperactive (sometimes finds faces that aren't there)
  • High ISO output (ISO 1250-3200) uses pixel-binning, which sacrifices resolution for sensitivity

Looks good for now

The iPhone 5 is great and all for the average businessman or high-end job holder, but my biggest worry is the 4G-LTE. It may be RIDICULOUSLY fast right now, but that's because not too many people are using it; give it a year or so, and the 4G-LTE hype will die down and carriers will soon have to...
Pros:
  • picture quality
  • easy to use
  • helps organize my tasks easily
Cons:
  • not too durable

Apple iPhone 5

The iPhone 5 surpasses its predecessors in virtually every aspect, and it is without a doubt the best offering from Apple so far. Despite the oversight with regards to the maps, it isn't quite the off-putting flaw that makes the iPhone 5 any less of a beast (especially since it can be rectified).
Pros:
  • + A speedier and smoother experience
  • + Improved battery life
Cons:
  • - Horrible built-in mapping solution
  • - Lack of innovative features on the OS
