Lumia 830 Windows phone review
There's nothing shockingly wrong with the Lumia 830, but it does feel like a slight opportunity lost. It is a mediocre performer, with a not-great camera. But it is well priced, nicely built and stylish. Better value can be found by dropping down to the Lumia 630, but if you want a 5in Windows phone this is a decent option.

Nokia Lumia 830 (AT&T) Review
The Nokia Lumia 830 is a middling phone that's outmatched by a range of other options on AT&T. It's tough being the middle child. Stuck in the middle of the notoriously slow-to-change Windows Phone lineup, the Nokia Lumia 830 doesn't have an impulse-buy price or spectacular performance to set it apart. It's also suffering from a weird AT&T pricing phenomenon where the superior Lumia 1020 ($149.99 at Amazon) costs less money, making the 830 even harder to recommend. The screen is a 1,280-by-720 Nokia ClearBlack LCD, which does indeed have excellent blacks, as well as low reflectivity for good outdoor viewing. Call quality is excellent. AT&T is behind other carriers when it comes to HD Voice and voice-over-LT...

Nokia Lumia 830 review
The Nokia Lumia 830 succeeds because it’s so pleasant to use in a very simple way. It’s among the slimmest and lightest large-screen Windows phones, and the screen is both bright, clear and colourful. Those merits go a surprising distance here. If you’re a hardcore mobile phone user, you might find yourself hankering after a bit more, though. 1080p phones with much more powerful CPUs are available for the same money if you’re willing to side with Android rather than Windows. And if you want to be sure you’ve got access to all of the newest and greatest apps, or if you’re into mobile gaming, we recommend doing so. However, if Windows sounds like your bag this is one of the best pieces of mid-range hardware Nokia has created yet. READ MORE: The 10 Best Smartphones in the World right nowProduct details
