I'm a bit of a ludite when it comes to phones and this is my first foray into apple territory; it doesn't live up to the hype. I expected wrongly that it would be intuitive to set up and use. Not really, it's just as frustrating as any other phone/device.
Pros:
  • It's a smart phone with many aps
Cons:
  • Doesn't have full Bluetooth capability

This iphone came defective from day one. I took it to an Apple repair shop and they said the phone, which was advertised as new, was quite worthless. Many of the parts in the phone were changed by the seller.

I have been using the iPhone 3G ever since I waited in line and bought one a bit over two weeks ago. The big question people ask me is if it's worth the 199 USD and increase in monthly service fees. It is, but only slightly.

iPhone 3G review: Twice the hype, half the novelty

We've had our fair share of the first-gen iPhone but, honestly, we weren't caught in the excitement last year until we saw it live. It was only after it arrived in our office that we really appreciated its sleek design and groundbreaking user interface.

But now you don't have to feel jealous over those people because the Apple iPhone has been released in Australia. Cased in a glossy black or white plastic, the iPhone 3G is a pinnacle in design. Yes, it's that classic Apple design that everyone is always talking about: simple.
