iPhone 3G
The iPhone 3G improves on its predecessor, refining its strengths and eliminating some of its flaws. On the way, however, it picked up a few more flaws. Exchange and MobileMe support are appealing, but poor battery life and substandard GPS implementation will deter some people. After selling more than 6 million units in other countries, the iPhone is finally here (officially). Australians can now get their hands on the iPhone 3G, Apple's second-generation mobile.
Pros:
- Multi-touch navigation, HSDPA bandwidth, Exchange and MobileMe support
Cons:
- Poor GPS implementation, no physical keyboard, poor battery life

Apple iPhone 3G
The first iPhone was still hot off the press when rumors of a 3G model began to circulate. Fueled by the prevalence of 3G networks outside the United States-and the comparative pokiness of AT&T's EDGE network-the speculation has finally come to an end.

iPhone 3G UK review
When the original iPhone arrived in November 2007, it was preceded by massive hype. But a lot of people in the UK who were interested held back. We'd like to think they were guided by a thoughtful and careful technological principle: "Never buy version 1.0".
Pros:
- Bright
- high-resolution screen
- fast cellular network
- built-in GPS
- iPhone 2.0 software includes Exchange support and third-party apps
- good audio quality
- no recessed headphone jack
Cons:
- Low-quality camera
- no video-recording support
- no built-in voice dialing
- limited Bluetooth functionality
- no support for text selection
- cut
- copy and paste

Apple iPhone 3G
The old iPhone is new again. Priced at an affordable $99 and updated with Apple's latest iPhone 3.0 software, the iPhone 3G makes a great entry level handheld computer. Of course, it's also a phone, but the 3G's voice capabilities are the least of what this platform (with its now-50,000 apps) can...
Pros:
- 3G
- True GPS
- App Store adds hundreds of third-party programs
- Voice quality is much improved from the original iPhone
- No more recessed headphone jack.
Cons:
- An unknown number of buggy units have been released
- Still missing video recording, voice dialing, stereo Bluetooth support, picture messaging, and document editing.

Undeniably beautiful, with the best interface on any mobile phone ever in the history of mobiles, the iPhone 3G would be perfect save for a few notable deficiencies.

Apple iPhone 3G Review
This is a phone that is far from perfect; For the record, there are many better phones out there which offer a lot more functionality. Where Apple scores is in adding a little human touch to their device.

Excellent Phone but dont upgrade to OS4.---
There's only a few of things I hate about this phone (no camera flash for example) but its definitely a very good phone, the 3G works great, the calls sound crystal clear, the resolution is just nice....
