Best phone ive ever bought
Decided to buy an iPhone after struggling to carry my Ipod, phone, wallet etc all together. Didnt buy mine from play (got one second hand) but since i got it i havent out it down. Functionality wise its top notch, easy to navigate, touch screen works a charm.

Apple's release of the iPhone 3G was a response to many of the fallbacks from the first generation iPhone. Many little bugs and user requested applications have been added to the iPhone 3G making it even more functional and user-friendly than its predecessor. The new generation is only 0.7mm thicker

Apple iPhone 3G review
So the mobile phone everyone has been clawing for since the launch of the last iPhone is here. But it is any good? Is it an improvement on the first version and has the time finally come for the Apple to dominate the mobile phone industry like it has the MP3 player market?
Pros:

Cons:
- No improvement on the camera
- O2's 3G coverage not great
- no search in email
- no "read all"
- no cut and paste
- GPS fiddly to use

iPhone 3G
It is indeed revolutionary, super-sexy and insanely easy to use. This is a phone you could give your multimedia-lovin' mum and she'd get the hang of everything quickly. And she'd appreciate the large icons too . Steve Jobs wasn't exaggerating when he said this was the best iPod Apple has ever made.
Pros:
- We have to say it: undeniable cool in owning one
- Fantastically easy to use (and easy to see) interface, yet the iPhone still qualifies as a smartphone, with some caveats
- Extremely fast and responsive
- Display auto-rotates very quickly
- Stable
- Fantastic for music and video playback.
Cons:
- No user replaceable battery
- Repair requires sending it off to Apple for a claimed 3 business day repair time
- No MMS, no 3G
- Limited Bluetooth profiles-- what about those who want to use a Stereo Bluetooth headset, Bluetooth GPS or keyboard?

Those who waited for the 3G second edition of the iPhone will appreciate dramatically faster cellular data access and an impressive software update including a raft of third-party programs.

The Good Still the best mobile OS for web browsing and media playback. 3G is much faster and changes the nature of what the iPhone can do. Improved audio quality going in and out. GPS is useful for both first- and third-party apps. New design is easier to hold and finally allows most earphones.

- usually need to plug in every day, GPS is purportedly limited in hardware
- Google Maps no stand-in for full navigation, Still no MMS, voice dialing, or improved camera, Black model too easily shows fingerprints, and may show scratches

Apple iPhone 3G
The first thing that will strike you with the iPhone 3G is that it is looks very similar to the original. It comes in the same 8GB and 16GB configurations as the previous 2G model and has the same two megapixel camera.
