Bought this as an upgrade as my old iPhone 6s was getting really slow and the battery life not very great. Now very happy as this phone does everything I need it to do like my old phone except it’s now a lot quicker, the battery life lasts all day and the camera and speakers are much better quality.
Extremely happy so far. I miss the size of my iPhone SE gen 1. This is bigger than that, sadly, but it’s slightly smaller than the iPhone 8 or SE gen 2 and is just about small enough to use one-handed for most things. Certainly it’s the smallest new phone we’re likely to get from now on.
First iPhone since the 4S so it took a bit of getting use to after so many years. Like another reviewer mentioned the newer phones are getting bigger but I want a smaller phone and this fits the bill. Still getting used to the iPhone way of thinking but loving it so far.
The thing is, the Apple iPhone 12 Mini is more amazing than you may have imagined. This compact phone runs the fastest smartphone processor that there is right now. And may very well be till the Apple A15 Bionic (or whatever it is called) comes around.
Whether you buy it or not, it’s important to note what the Apple iPhone 12 Mini stands for — that there’s still a market for small phones, and that smaller form factors don’t mean big compromises.
The iPhone 12 mini is one of the only options for anyone looking for a compact flagship-grade smartphone. It delivers arguably the best camera at $729 / £699, and sports an excellent screen, rich design and plenty of power. Where it drops the ball is battery life.
Excellent camera quality; Premium; fun design; Powerful internals
Poor battery life; No telephoto camera; No RAW photography
So cute! Smartphones are getting bigger and bigger, but Apple offers a real alternative with the iPhone 12 mini, which is unique in the high-end segment with its 5.4-inch screen. However, the small form factor also poses problems. Find out whether Apple's mini mix works out in this review.
bright and color-accurate display; fast SoC; good dual camera; accurate positioning; wide frequency coverage;
OLED flickering; mediocre speakers; no mmWave in Europe; no 5G for dual-SIM; limited NFC;
Hannah Stryker / Review Geek The iPhone 14 is the latest iteration of Apple’s flagship device. Since its launch, the iPhone has set the standard of what a smartphone is, what it does, and how it looks. Fifteen years later, it’s still doing that.
Top-notch cameras, Amazing display, Snappy performance, Great battery life
It's just "this year's iPhone"
