Apple iPad Pro?9.7-inch
iPad Pro is truly evolving into a platform. While the iPad mini and older iPad Air devices will continue to offer all the great content consumption features and still be the best tablets on the planet, the iPad Pro line can focus on more serious and mission critical applications.

iPad Pro 9.7
Apple is slowly transforming its iPad into a 2-in-1, and while this new tablet may not be a laptop replacement, it's more than simply an iPad Air 3. It's best used with pro-level accessories like the Smart Keyboard and Pencil, but it gets even more expensive.
Pros:
- Easy to handle
- True Tone display is gorgeous
- 256GB configuration
Cons:
- iOS shows its limitations
- Expensive starting price
- Optional keyboard isn't backlit

Immensely powerful, attractive, capable, but above all else, expensive.

When Apple announced that it planned to release a smaller version of its iPad Pro our curiosity was piqued. Despite having a smaller battery and a smaller screen the same A9X chip that the 12.7inch Pro boasted would a make a return.

Apple iPad Pro (9.7-Inch)
The 9.7-inch iPad Pro is more powerful than the iPad Air 2, but I'm having trouble justifying the increased price for most buyers. For $499, you can get a 64GB iPad Air 2 with similar size, shape, and performance. The Pro's sweet spot is the 128GB model, which costs $749 (or $879 with cellular).
Pros:
- Fast
- Top-notch Pencil stylus and keyboard accessories
- Loud speakers
- Great-looking screen
Cons:
- Expensive
- iOS apps fall short of Mac and Windows apps in traditional business functionality

Review: Apple's 9.7" iPad Pro is professional-grade, powerful & pricey
After being neglected in 2015, Apple's 9.7-inch iPad has received a much-needed professional makeover, gaining key features from the 12.9-inch iPad Pro and even outperforming it in a few ways.
Pros:

Cons:
- Starting price of $599 may be too steep for some

- Lightning port is USB 2
- only 12.9-inch model has faster USB 3
- Ugh
- the camera bump

Apple 9.7-inch iPad Pro review: Smaller tablet packs a powerful but pricey punch
Apple raised a few eyebrows when it launched the iPad Pro at the end of last year. After spurning hybrid devices such as Microsoft's popular Surface range for years, the arrival of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro -- complete with keyboard and stylus accessories -- was the sort of screeching U-turn that a...

- with 4K video recording
- 10 hour+ battery life
Cons:
- Expensive
- Lacks USB port and SD card slot
- Requires expensive accessories to function as a laptop
- Only 2GB of RAM
