The best iPad you can buy. Pair it with the Smart Keyboard or Pencil for a productive mobile powerhouse, just make sure the apps and software you need to be most productive are compatible first.

The 2017 Apple iPad with its 10.5-inch display delivers. Period. It’s got a premium and solid build with almost the same heft as its smaller predecessor, has a gorgeous and feature-laden display, powerful speakers, and definitely more capable internals.
Pros:
- Gorgeous display, 4-speaker setup, Detailed and powerful speakers, Smooth performance, Capable internals, Long battery life

- Device gets hot over time

A great tablet, but not a pro. The iPad Pro 10.5 is Apple's second generation of the Pro-series. The screen is definitely the star of the show. It has not only grown in size, but it also offers 120 Hz, HDR and claims coverage of the P3 color space.
Pros:
- very good display, fast Wi-Fi, additional Apple SIM (LTE-versions only), speedy SoC, decent speakers, good battery runtimes
Cons:
- no support for Galileo GNSS, pressure-sensitive case, one-year warranty only, display does not support P3 despite claims, slower memory than predecessor, long charging times

- A larger size means a roomier keyboard.

- The 120Hz refresh rate is currently useful only for artists.

- Fantastic display that’s perfect for productivity, Performance that beats full-size laptops, Superb battery life
Cons:
- Pricey – For most people it’s either this or a laptop, The best is still yet to come with iOS 11

Pros:
- The A10X is super fast, and it’s nice to have 4GB of RAM (a 512GB storage option doesn’t hurt, either)., Bright 120Hz screen is really easy on the eyes., Fits in a larger screen and a full-size Smart Keyboard without being too much larger and heavier than the tablet it replaces.
Cons:
- More expensive than last year, and accessories like the $159 Smart Keyboard and $99 Apple Pencil quickly jack up the price., Included charger is significantly slower than a USB-C MacBook charger
- the included Lightning cable is also still using USB-A.
