This is the first generation of the iPad mini, and it uses a lower voltage charger than gen 2 and 3, but still I was sent a cheap non-Apple charger that tends to get hot when charging. Other than that, I have no complaints about this refurbished item. It worked well out of the box.

Bought as a gift for granddaughter for Christmas. She plays with nothing but that. She tells me everyday thanks for her Apple ipad. She can face time my son daily because he lives in another state and has a Apple iPhone. What a blessings for Apple products.

This is the first iPad generation mini. Almost no difference in build, looks and feel with the latest model except that display is not retina quality. But it's still really very good, it updates with the latest iOS and given the price is a fantastic catch.
