The iPad Mini is the fifth generation iPad and the first to deviate from the 9.7-inch screen size, with it's 7-inch screen. The 7-inch tablet market has been neglected, RIM's BlackBerry Playbook has great hardware, however the lack of native email on launch disappointed fans, it was only when Google...
- Light and portable
- Fantastic app selection
- Intuitive UI suitable for first tablets
iPad mini review
The iPad mini has arrived - and so has our review. Just last week, Apple introduced the world to the newest member of its wildly successful tablet line, an adorable, diminutive slate with a 7.9-inch display.- Fantastic design and build quality
- Software selection second to none
- Great battery life
- Screen is lower resolution than the competition
- Can sometimes be a little awkward to hold
- Expensive
Review: Apple iPad mini WiFi
The iPad mini is a very difficult device to describe to someone. On paper, it's not all that impressive. There are some numbers that are lower than other devices' number, some specs that mostly look two years old, and a price that doesn't exactly make it the most budget friendly device in the Nexus...

Apple iPad mini
Despite the late Steve Jobs' pronouncements that Apple would never release a 7-inch tablet, Apple unveiled the iPad mini , a shrunk-down version of the 9.7-inch iPad. The general consensus around the Web is that the iPad mini is an excellent compact tablet.
Apple iPad Mini Review
Best for portability- Very large screen for its size
- Very light for its size
- Fast system speed
- Good sound quality
- Consumer testers loved the design and feel
- Consumer testers loved the camera functionality
- Resolution not as impressive as other tablets tested
- Few connectivity options
Good value
This is the first generation of the iPad mini, and it uses a lower voltage charger than gen 2 and 3, but still I was sent a cheap non-Apple charger that tends to get hot when charging. Other than that, I have no complaints about this refurbished item. It worked well out of the box.
iPad mini review
Apple went gone where we never thought it would, with the iPad mini bringing the Apple tablet experience to a brave new budget world. Two generations on and the original mini now comes in at a wallet-friendly £199 / $249 / AU$299 for the Wi-Fi version, with 16GB of storage on offer.
Review
Hard to write a review for an iPad cover. But this is a great colour, does exactly what it needs to do. It arrived very quickly and as it is a gift will be loved I am sure.
Apple iPad Mini review
Small and light enough to take everywhere but big and clever enough to be considered a full-blooded tablet, the iPad Mini provides a near-perfect balance – for a price- Like the iPad
- but easier to handle
- Beautifully built
- Battery life is impressive
- No Retina Display means a lack of detail
- Expensive compared to the Nexus 7
