Apple iPad Mini 6 review
The most important thing you should know about the iPad Mini is this: it’s an iPad, not an iPad Pro. The iPad Mini looks like an iPad Pro but falls behind in display quality, camera performance, and the lack of Face ID login. That’s not to say the iPad Mini lacks merit.
Pros:
- Light, portable, and easy to handle, Perfect for use with Apple Pencil, Superb performance
Cons:
- Unimpressive display, Not great for multitasking, No Face ID

There’s a lot to like about the newly refreshed iPad Mini, and the form-factor and style makes up a big part. Appearing as a compact iPad Air, it’s the little tablet that could, doing more than you may expect.
Pros:
- Beautifully compact, A great redesign that really makes the compact style all about the screen, Still features Touch ID, Supports the second-gen Apple Pencil, Switches to Type C USB for charging

- Expensive, Camera isn't on the level of Apple's phones, despite nearing the size of them, No water resistance

The new iPad mini is one of the few tech products to come out this year to really excite me, and in my time with it, I haven’t been disappointed.
Pros:
- Great size, USB-C port, Mobile Photoshop studio
Cons:
- $120 more expensive than 2019 iPad mini, Doesn'
- t include stylus in box, Button placement is a little cramped

I've only ever owned one iPad Mini. I bought the first one, released in 2012, and I temporarily replaced my main iPad with it as a writing device. The experiment wasn't long-lived. Sure, I enjoyed being able to put it in the back pocket of my jeans or safely carry it around in my inner coat pocket.
Pros:
- Long battery life, Strong performance, Refreshing design, iPadOS 15 improvements
Cons:
- More expensive than base iPad, Button placement is awkward at times

The iPad mini is without doubt the best small tablet you can buy, but unlike most rivals at this size it is not a cheap machine. The screen is excellent and big enough to be usable for most things despite the tablet’s almost-pocketable size.
Pros:
- Pros: compact design, great performance, 10-hour battery life, great screen, USB-C, iPadOS, plenty of apps, great speakers, great mics, brilliant video-call camera, very long software support, recycled aluminium.
Cons:
- Cons: expensive, small size is cramped for some applications, no smart keyboard support, relatively small storage on the starting model with no way to add more.
