iPad Mini 5 7.9in WiFi 64GB (2019)
The iPad Mini (2019) is small but its diminutive size is a huge part of its appeal. For a device this size, there is a lot of performance and an expanded user experience.
Take it anywhere
The new iPad Mini is the epitome of portability: less than 500 grams and 6.1 millimetres thin, making it easy to carry in one hand.
A multi-faceted display
Lots of cool things combine to make a truly dazzling display. The 7.9-inch LED-backlit Multi-Touch display has over 3 million pixels for brilliant detail, while True Tone dynamically adjusts white balance so images look more natural and realistic in any light conditions.
Small but powerful
The A12 Bionic chip with Neural Engine delivers an astounding level of intelligence and power, with real-time machine learning recognising patterns, making predictions and learning from experience. All the power in the world is at your fingertips, so you can run apps like Adobe Photoshop CC, experience augmented reality, or play an immersive game with console-level graphics.
Enjoy a full iPad experience
With iOS on the iPad mini, you can enjoy the full iPad experience on your compact device. That means running lots of apps at the same time, launching your favourite apps from the Dock, and dragging and dropping files using simple Multi-Touch gestures.
More power to the Pencil
Use the Apple pencil on your iPad Mini to make notes, sign documents or fill out forms. Meanwhile the artist in you can draw, paint or sketch, anywhere you go.
Mini device, maximum use
You can use your iPad Mini for up to 10 hours on a single charge of the battery.
A newer model iPad Mini 6th 5G 64GB 8.3in was released in September 2021.

The 12.9-inch iPad Pro sits next to my home desktop computer. Its beautifully large screen is a creative canvas I love using, Face ID continues to feel futuristic, and the magnetic, second-gen Apple Pencil is so darn convenient.- Great screen
- Strong performance
- Portable and compact
- Apple Pencil support
- Good battery life (so far
- Same old design
- No second-gen Apple Pencil support
- Fast charging adapter and cable not included
Apple iPad mini 5 (2019) review: If it ain't broke...
The new 5th-generation iPad mini, then, is pretty much the definition of a mixed bag; on the one hand, the performance improvements are absolutely staggering compared to the previous generation, and the addition of Apple Pencil support will please note-takers, sketchers and digital artists alike.- Outstanding speed
- Portable and convenient size
- Beautiful display
- Apple Pencil support
- Few added features over the mini 4
- reduced battery life
Apple iPad mini 5 Tablet Review
Apple decided to leave the 5th generation iPad mini's design untouched, thereby targeting all those interested in refreshing their aging devices with brand-new hardware. And that is exactly what the iPad mini 5 has to offer.- very fast system performance
- support for Apple Pencil
- 3.5-mm audio port
- decent speakers
- robust case
- high premium for LTE and higher storage tiers
- memory not expandable
- no GPS

All the power of an iPad in an easier to tote around size.
Best Yet
Love it, size is handy. I use it mostly for reading via kindle app. Downloads are much faster than any tablet I have had, even faster than my 10.5 iPad Pro. It is a much handier size to carry and will get the most use.
Great compact portable tablet!
I bought this for my fiancee who is loving the size of the tablet and how nice the screen is. It's super fast and light. Perfect for trips to watch downloaded movies on the plane and it's more convenient in size than the Ipad Pro I use.
Apple iPad mini (2019) review: a tiny creative powerhouse
The iPad mini is a powerful and capable little tablet, but we prefer the extra screen size of the iPad Air.- Very strong processor and graphics
- Vibrant and sharp True Tone screen
- Apple Pencil support
- Small and light
- of course
- Screen size limited for working
- Design is a bit outdated now
- No Smart Connector for keyboards
I have still not received this iPad after Many weeks.
The iPad Mini is not the best tablet Apple makes (that's the 11-inch iPad Pro ). It's not the good enough tablet either (that's the iPad Air). It's the awkward one. A little too small, but a little too big, and demanding a fairly radical change to how you operate a tablet if you've been using any...
- A mini tablet is great for books
- and even movies
- It feels a little cramped to use the pencil with
