Apple iPad Mini 4 Wifi (64GB, Gold) - Excellent review
I wasn't very excited about the iPad Mini 3 when Apple announced it last year, as it was just the iPad Mini 2 with Touch ID while the iPad Air 2 was a substantial upgrade from the iPad Air in many ways.
Apple iPad Mini 4 Wifi (64GB, Gold) - Excellent review
Apple recently lowered the price of the 128GB iPad mini 4 knocking $100 off the price while also introducing a new 9.7-inch iPad at an amazing introductory price of $329. However, does the new lower cost of the 128GB iPad mini 4 make it a compelling purchase?

There’s life in the old dog yet. It has been very quiet around the small iPad lately. Some people even claimed that the Mini could be cancelled. Phil Schiller from Apple only mentioned the iPad Mini 4 with two sentences during the keynote.- Impeccable build quality, Sophisticated materials, Low weight and thickness, High performance, Excellent GPS sensor, Convenient display with usable "anti-reflective coating", Usable features thanks to iOS 9, Usable cameras ...
- ... only under good lighting conditions, Proprietary Lightning connector, Bad maintainability, No NFC, High price
When a tinier iPad isn't always the better iPad
Unless you're absolutely in love with the iPad Mini 4's smaller size, opt for the faster, larger, identically priced, and still pretty portable iPad Air 2.- Compact size, vivid display, works with split-screen apps in iOS 9. Basically, a shrunken-down iPad Air 2. Perfect hand feel for vacations.
- Price is high for an 8-inch tablet. Slower graphics mean some apps and games don't feel as zippy. Small screen makes for cramped typing and multitasking.
Apple iPad Mini 4 Wifi (64GB, Gold) - Excellent review
Apple hasn’t revolutionised the iPad Mini with this fourth model but it’s certainly one of the best sub-10-inch tablets you can buy right now. A desirable combination of slick performance and longevity, combined with some serious media chops, make the Mini 4 a solid choice for almost any user.- Super thin and light, Slick performance, Great battery life
iPad mini 4 review
There are cheaper tablets – cheaper iPads even – but if you can afford to buy the iPad mini 4 you won’t be disappointed. It finally has a great screen and while it can’t match the more powerful iPad Air 2, it’s got more than enough poke to satisfy demanding users.

Rear iSight camera has been upgraded to 8MP, with slo-mo video recording and burst mode shooting. Colors are sharper and more accurate in updated display.
- Still often feels like a step down from iPad Air 2. No 3D Touch display. 16GB capacity will be too small for most users. 1.2 MP iPad FaceTime camera feels outdated. The design has been tweaked enough that old iPad mini cases won’t fit.
Apple iPad mini 4 Review (Review Apple iPad mini 4)
The Apple iPad mini 4 is a top-notch small-screen tablet with unparalleled build quality and app support, but it's still hard to justify the jump in price over the iPad mini 2.- Excellent build quality., Upgraded hardware from last iteration., Good camera., Reduced screen glare., Unbeatable app experience.
- Expensive., Occasional minor performance issues in testing.
Apple iPad Mini 4 Wifi (64GB, Gold) - Excellent review
Apple iPad mini (2021): The iPad mini (2021) is a beautifully packaged small tablet with all the power of an iPhone 13- Fast, Great screen, Apple Pencil 2 support
- Battery life could be better, No 3.5mm audio jack
Apple iPad Mini 4 Wifi (64GB, Gold) - Excellent review
This year we got (at last) a good iPad Mini, there are a lot of great and improved features and although it has been claimed to be a shrunken iPad Air 2, it clearly isn’t, hardware-wise it’s quite different.
