Apple iPad Mini 3 review: A great tablet, but no longer the best deal
One of 2013's best, the iPad Mini 3 is still a compelling choice despite the lack of upgrades. However, the nearly identical and significantly cheaper iPad Mini 2 is a smarter buy. At its Worldwide Developers Conference in June 2015, Apple introduced the next edition of its mobile operating system, iOS 9 , which heralds some important changes to come for the iPad portfolio. Significantly, iOS 9 will bring to the iPad Air 2 split-screen multitasking, allowing users to view two apps on the same screen (other existing iPad models will not support this feature).
Pros:
- Though we're disappointed by the lack of upgrades, Apple's smaller iPad is still a great choice
- Both the display and battery life are excellent, and the addition of Touch ID takes care of our biggest complaint from the previous version.
Cons:
- Other than a gold option and Touch ID, the iPad Mini 3 is identical to its predecessor
- It lacks the processor and camera upgrade of its big brother, the Air 2, and it's still priced at the high end for midsize tablets.

iPad mini 3 review
The iPad mini 3 is a curious beast. Curious insofar in that I don't really know where it's supposed to fit into the tablet market, an arena arguably created by Apple itself. It's not the top-end tablet that technology fans will lust after, given it's based almost entirely on last year's technology.

Love this iPad mini
Best thing I've ever bought!! Well worth paying the extra money for bigger storage. I use this iPad all the time it's easy to use light and fits in my bag. I can always link my iPhone 6 with it well worth the money

Great iPad mini with great potential
The iPad mini is a great device. It does what I want it to. It would be nice for it to support the split screen mode.
Pros:

Cons:
- Does not support the split screen multitasking in iOS 9
- same specs as last year

Wonderful
Purchased the Gold IPad for my son's birthday and I ended up giving it to him a month early because I knew how much he wanted one. The look on his face was worth every penny when he opened it. Supposedly I am the best Mom ever!

I love my iPad
I bought my iPad on sale which was the best decision because it is pricey. My iPad works great and I use it for everything from game playing, taking notes for class, and listening to music. I have a lot of downloads on it so 64gb is perfect for me because I still have tons of storage left to use.

Great Value
Wonderful iPad. Very fast. My old 16 gb iPad had gotten so slow. Love the mini size so much more. Perfect size for reading apps. Very portable and easy to carry in my purse. Will be great for travel. The sale price made it an especially appealing buy.
