iPad mini 2 review

The iPad mini 2 is flawless in so many ways. From a rich app catalog to the best design on the market, the mini 2's only real downfall is its price. If your pockets are deep you'll simply love it.

My very first Apple product.

This is my first tablet and first Apple product. This product is simple to navigate. The prev complaints of a really small number/ letter pad --I think is silly. I find no issue with it. The picture quality is gorgeous! My only concern is the volume. I really wish the sound for this item was louder.

Easy installation. I like the I-cloud facility

Quick delivery, well packed. Easy installation. I like the I-cloud facility. Spent an hour creating and uploading. The I pad mini is brilliant. The standard put down is "too big to use as phone, too small to use as laptop.

Bad accessories

The iPad itself is fine because It came from the Apple manufacture but it's the accessories that QVC paired this with that is just horrendous in quality. I had to go out and spend another $50 for an appropriate cover for my iPad and basically just threw the rest of the accessories in the trash...

Apple iPad mini with Retina Display Review

If there's any one product that embodies Apple's entire product philosophy, it's the iPad mini with Retina Display. This is not a tablet that's designed to go head to head with cheaper slates like the Nexus 7 and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX.

Apple iPad mini with Retina display

Many of you screamed for an iPad mini with a Retina display, and now Apple has delivered. It's an improvement on last year's iPad mini in every way possible, but we can't help but think it's still a little on the pricey side.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 vs iPad mini 2

It's difficult to decide which tablet is best without having both devices in our lab for thorough testing. I am an Android user, and would take the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4's larger, higher-resolution screen, more compact size and weight, potentially faster performance, micro-USB port, better...

Pros:
  • Apple has stuck with the same design as last year's iPad mini
  • which in itself is a departure from the tapered look of previous iPads – and it's still as impressive as when it was first revealed.
Cons:
  • Tablets are not exactly known for their brilliant sound quality, and the new iPad mini is no exception either
  • The stereo speakers included on the mini will certainly make do for occasional listening, but they're not as loud as the pair found on the iPad Air, and they're also positioned awkwardly.
