Apple iPad AIR Wifi (16GB, Black) - Grade (Excellent) review

Imbued with first class design and aesthetics, within the full-size tablet universe, the iPad Air is second only to its newer sibling, the Air 2.
Pros:
  • The iPad Air delivers solid performance and battery life in an attractive and impossibly thin-and-light package. The front-facing camera delivers excellent FaceTime capabilities and the Retina Display is top-notch.
Cons:
  • No Touch ID fingerprint scanner, meaning you’ll have to type in a passcode with every unlock and a password with every purchase.

Big Name Big Power

Many have criticized Apple for not drastically changing its devices over the years. The biggest change the line had was the introduction of the iPad Mini. Apple's iPad Air wants to innovate further without changing what makes the line so popular.

Review: Apple iPad Air

Apple first introduced the "Air" branding scheme in conjunction with its ultra-slim and portable MacBook line back in 2008. The term was meant to connote a laptop that wasn't just lighter, but also uber thin, and able to achieve epic battery life.
Pros:
  • Incredibly lightweight with a super-slim, redesigned form factor
  • A7 chip, in addition to helping provide an impressive 10-plus hours of battery life, offers superb overall performance whether you're surfing the web or streaming media.
Cons:
  • No TouchID, just a regular old home button
  • Despite upgrading to stereo speakers - audio separation remains poor
  • 5-megapixel rear-facing shooter could use an update

Got the iPad air to store/display photographs and eventually to use with the CamRanger wireless camera control. Not to impressed with having to use I tunes to load photos onto I Pad. Wish now that I had got the Cellular I Pad for the GPS.
Pros:
  • Great Picture Quality
  • Great Section Of Apps
  • Lightweight
  • Simple Controls
Cons:
  • Loading Photographs

Loving the iPad Air. Lighter and faster than it's predecessors. Worth it!

I bought the iPad Air because I was ready for an upgrade of my previous 64GB + 3G + wifi generation one iPad. I like that the iPad Air is so much lighter than the 1st gen iPad. It also has a faster processor chip which means game apps load faster.

Apple iPad Air Review

Plain and simple, the iPad Air is Apple's best 9.7-inch iPad tablet to date. It's faster than any previous version, it has a gorgeous display that doesn't care what angle you view it from, there's a burly processor inside, and it's significantly lighter and thinner than even the previous model.
Pros:
  • Light and Sturdy
  • Sexy Display
  • Hello A7
  • How Do You Do?
  • Amazing Battery Life
  • Improved FaceTime Camera
Cons:
  • High Expectations
  • Stale Features
  • Put Those Speakers Up Front
