Apple iPad Air: Lighter and more powerful than ever before
Apple continues to dominate the tablet realm and despite worthy efforts from the Android camp, no one has been able to truly knock them off the pedestal. Apple iPad Air Review
The iPad Air is probably the best 10-inch tablet we've ever used, but if you want one tablet, we recommend holding out for the iPad Mini with Retina.- Thin and light
- looks great
- Powerful 64-bit processor
- New Wi-Fi antennas are fast
- iOS 7 runs best on Air
- Battery life is a solid 10 hours
- Speakers are a step down from iPad 4
- Camera quality has not improved
- Not as comfortable as iPad Mini
Review: Apple iPad Air
Apple first introduced the "Air" branding scheme in conjunction with its ultra-slim and portable MacBook line back in 2008. The term was meant to connote a laptop that wasn't just lighter, but also uber thin, and able to achieve epic battery life.- Incredibly lightweight with a super-slim, redesigned form factor
- A7 chip, in addition to helping provide an impressive 10-plus hours of battery life, offers superb overall performance whether you're surfing the web or streaming media.
- No TouchID, just a regular old home button
- Despite upgrading to stereo speakers - audio separation remains poor
- 5-megapixel rear-facing shooter could use an update
Sometime on a game you get a ad and accidentally click on it. Then later when you come onto the App Store I can't get the information about the previous app down ( because there is no exit button)
- Nearly everything
- A few things
With lightning fast performance, smooth and crisp display and top quality dual cameras, the iPad Air is a definite buy for professionals and even gaming enthusiasts.
- Display
- performance
- cameras
- battery life
- 16 GB storage only
- no 3G dongle support
Apple iPad Air review
The iPad Air is a great tablet, yes. But is the iPad still the one you should buy Our in-depth iPad Air review looks at all the iPad Air specs, benchmarks, and our own time with the tablet to give the definitive verdict on the iPad Air.
Amazing screen display.
Got the iPad air to store/display photographs and eventually to use with the CamRanger wireless camera control. Not to impressed with having to use I tunes to load photos onto I Pad. Wish now that I had got the Cellular I Pad for the GPS.- Great Picture Quality
- Great Section Of Apps
- Lightweight
- Simple Controls
- Loading Photographs
Loving the iPad Air. Lighter and faster than it's predecessors. Worth it!
I bought the iPad Air because I was ready for an upgrade of my previous 64GB + 3G + wifi generation one iPad. I like that the iPad Air is so much lighter than the 1st gen iPad. It also has a faster processor chip which means game apps load faster.
Apple iPad Air Review
Plain and simple, the iPad Air is Apple's best 9.7-inch iPad tablet to date. It's faster than any previous version, it has a gorgeous display that doesn't care what angle you view it from, there's a burly processor inside, and it's significantly lighter and thinner than even the previous model.- Light and Sturdy
- Sexy Display
- Hello A7
- How Do You Do?
- Amazing Battery Life
- Improved FaceTime Camera
- High Expectations
- Stale Features
- Put Those Speakers Up Front
