Apple’s New iPad Air Is a Great Tablet With a Few Quirks
The latest iPad Air is light, powerful, convenient, and just a little awkward.- Super fast chip. Long battery life—over 11 hours, in my testing. Lighter than the iPad Pro, if just barely. Apple's Magic Keyboard accessory is supported. TouchID embedded in top button is convenient
- it works on first try most of the time, but not all of the time.
- Rear camera module lacks an ultrawide camera, and speakers aren’t as powerful as the ones on iPad Pro. Video calls on the iPad are still frustrating. Score would be higher, except for backlight bleed spotted on the display.

In 2020, the iPad Air will continue to position itself between the iPad 8 and the iPad Pro 11 , but it is now looking more to the Pro model. This is not only visible in the new design but also in the optional accessories such as Magic Keyboard and Pencil 2, which can be used with both products.- great design and processing, modern SoC, good battery life, good IPS display, versatile expandability, very good loudspeakers
- WLAN is a bit slow, no 5G option, sparse scope of delivery

The iPad Air finally has a solid identity with its fourth-generation model—this time as an affordable alternative to the iPad Pro. While you miss out on features like the 120hz ProMotion display, quad speakers, FaceID, Ultra-wide-angle camera, and LIDAR, the 4th-generation iPad Air comes with...

With so few differences between the iPad Air and the Pro, I’m forced to reconsider who the Air is for. Last year it was the perfect just-right tablet: it offered more features than the basic entry-level model, but was still more attainable than the premium Pro line.

I’ve been using the new iPad Air (2020) for the past few weeks, throwing everything from writing and emailing to media editing at Apple’s midrange tablet, and I’m struggling to figure out why most people should step up to the iPad Pro.- iPad Pro design but far more affordable, Screen is excellent, Apple A14 Bionic processor is fast and future-proofed, Touch ID is slickly integrated
- Cellular and higher storage upgrades are expensive, iPadOS still has some multi-tasking foibles

Apple iPad Air 4th generation (2020): The new iPad Air is a powerful, portable and practical alternative to a traditional laptop- Nearly as fast as the iPad Pro, Thin and light, Decent camera
- Accessories are expensive

“The iPad Air 4 is the iPad Pro for the masses. It's perfectly situated to offer an exceptional tablet experience, without pushing into the territory of high-end laptop pricing.”

Yes, if you are looking for a versatile, powerful portable computing device. In fact, if you are bored of the laptop and not really tied to that form factor then maybe you should consider that iPad Air which is most probably more powerful than most laptops out there now.

The fourth-generation iPad Air gives you the power of an iPad Pro for less money, making it the best Apple tablet to buy in 2020.- Super-fast processor and internet speeds, Excellent cameras, Fantastic build quality
- Unimpressive battery life, iPadOS still doesn't multitask as well as Mac/Windows
