iPad Air 2 Review: Still the Perfect 10 Inch Tablet, With Some Small Quirks (Video)
We give this model a 9.5 out of 10 for design, a 9.8 for hardware and a 9.5 for OS and UI. The final grade is 9.6 out of 10 and this is still the best 10 inch tablet (or close) that money can buy in 2014. However, the iPad Air 1 is also a very solid buy, since the price is lower now.
Pros:
- slim
- but solid
- very light
- less glare than many tablets
- good battery
- loud speakers
- good display
- good cameras
- ultra fast browser
- excellent hardware
- fast rendering
- good productivity
Cons:
- big bezel
- long charging
- back vibrates a lot
- UI getting old

iPad Air 2 Review
The New iPad air 2 might still look similar to the previos one but there are many upgrades with the camera, the processor and additional features. The price is still a main concern for all, the ipad air 2 starts at 500$ and ranging up to 830$
Pros:
- Improved front camera
- A8x Processor and latest version of iOS 8.1
Cons:
- no flash in the camera
- very expensive

Apple iPad Air 2 review
Bottom line, if you have an iPad 4 or older or an original mini, you'll love the improvements in the iPad Air 2. If you already have the Air, then you may not feel the improvements are worth spending hundreds of dollars for and may be happier waiting for the Air 3 or whatever Apple brings us next.
Pros:
- Thinner and lighter than any previous full-sized iPad
- Improved camera
- NFC chip lets you use Apple Pay for online purchases
- Faster than previous iPads
- Better sound than previous iPads
- Thumbprint reader for increased security and for use with Apple Pay
Cons:
- Incremental updates may not seem worth the purchase to people with the iPad Air

The company claims up to 10 hours using Wi-Fi, and in three battery rundown tests I averaged 10 hours and 14 minutes of continuously watching...

- Incredibly fast A8X processor makes everything feel more immediate
- same great battery life
- easier to see in bright sunlight, Comes in gold and has Touch ID
Cons:
- 16GB isn't enough storage for the entry level model
- Otherwise it's the same as last year's

Overall, there’s a lot to go over on the iPad Air 2. While the name suggests that it’s an iterative update in nature, in practice these updates add a lot of compelling hardware to the high-end iPad line. One of the first areas worth looking at here is the design.

The iPad Air 2 takes the title (from Apple's original Air) of Best Tablet You Can Buy. The updates aren't enough to force an upgrade from a 2013 Air, but it'll feel like a tablet from another planet if you're still using an original iPad or iPad 2, or an early Android.
