Most are in agreement that Apple's iPad Air 2 is one of the finest tablets ever produced, if not the best out there, period. Certainly, it's not difficult to make that case -- after all, the latest 9.7-inch iPad is thinner than its predecessor at just 6.1mm thick, wicked fast with its custom A8X...
Pros:
  • Slimmer than a shaved pencil
  • lighter than a pound
  • Sleek design and now comes in gold
  • Fast A8X SoC
  • 2GB of RAM
  • and new storage tiers
  • Upgraded cameras are finally worth talking about
  • Lots of little upgrades
  • such as the Touch ID sensor and barometer
  • Yet again
  • pricing remains the same
  • 1-year...
Cons:
  • While battery life is as advertised
  • it's less than the previous iPad Air
  • Isn't built for productivity
  • C'mon Apple
  • start including Beats earphones

iPad Air 2 Review – Apple builds a new flagship

Apple is bullish on tablets and, for all it may be the slimmest and lightest of its breed, the iPad Air 2 is undeniably its new heavyweight champion. Dropping weight and bulk while simultaneously gaining power, the iPad Air 2 also dips into the best-selling iPhone 6 ‘s pockets for features like...

Apple iPad AIR 2 Wifi (32GB, Silver) - Grade (Excellent) review

While we were a bit skeptical at first mostly driven by the sale price of the 16GB Wi-Fi only iPad Air 2 tablet, our impression has changed quite dramatically after using the tablet extensively on a two-week period.

iPad Air 2 review: Still one of the best tablets around

Besides the Touch ID fingerprint feature, the screen assembly and uprated processor are the headline features. New cameras are a bonus too. Overall the Apple iPad Air 2 is the best tablet you can buy, even though it's been discontinued by Apple.

Review: Apple iPad Air 2

A bigger screen? Nope. A lower price? Nah. How about a bit more storage in the base model? You must be joking. So what is the headline feature of the iPad Air 2? It's thinner, because that's exactly the feature everyone had been clamouring for. "You know that iPad Air?

Apple iPad Air 2 review: Lighter, faster, thinner, better

The original iPad Air is a fantastic tablet. Perfect for the home, upon its launch in 2013 it shared the stage with the more portable iPad mini with Retina display, offering equal power in different sized packages.
Pros:
  • Screen improvements (anti-glare limits reflections)
  • even more power
  • thinner design
  • TouchID integrated
  • best iPad camera yet
Cons:
  • No curved glass from the iPhone 6 range
  • camera could be better still
  • lock/rotation switch absent
  • original iPad Air remains strong

iPad Air 2 review

When we began this review 3,000 words ago, we wanted to determine whether the iPad Air 2 was as perfect in 2014 as the iPad Air was in 2013. The answer is yes. It has earned the same perfect score as its predecessor, making the iPad Air line the only two products to which we have ever awarded...
Pros:
  • Gorgeous design
  • thinner and lighter than last model
  • tri-core CPU screams
  • double RAM of last model
  • long battery life
  • excellent photography for a tablet
  • fingerprint recognition
  • excellent selection of apps
  • still easy to use
Cons:
  • Drawbacks will be subjective, such as a less open app ecosystem
  • lacks 60fps video capture of iPhone line
  • speaker quality reduced versus predecessor
